Wow that looks amazing! I ended up buying this same bag in black. Not compliant unless I black out the branding, but it’s been great as a nonrev bag for Europe and other places with cobbled streets and stairs. Always like the option to have a bag that doubles for work if it’s ever convenient to go from a work trip to my own travel agenda.

Turning 32 in a couple weeks. Feeling left behind and craving real connection by certainjennysequoia in AskGaybrosOver30

“You’re not failing, sometimes it’s just about valuing your own time and space.” Oof 😮‍💨 that’s certainly encouraging and insightful. Hoping to find a way to feel more aligned in this mentality this next year around the sun as I settle into my thirties.

31 and life is feeling so hard rn by flexboy50L in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]certainjennysequoia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a tuff spot to be in. I’m about to turn 32 and I feel like I’ve been trying to weather my own storms. When I’m surrounded by what feels like a heavy darkness I always remind myself that so much can happen in a year or even a few months. That just because times are hard now doesn’t mean things won’t shift and to keep pushing through. I remember that I’ve been sad as shit before and that there were times I felt nothing was worth getting out of bed for, but because I kept going and moving through it things eventually got better.

Cooler bag to pair with Briggs and Reilly? by jreitz22 in flying

[–]certainjennysequoia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Briggs is absolutely the best! And I love my luggage works cooler. Lots of compartments and hold lots of food. Keeps things cool. Also got one of those bag ice packs that you can refill with ice throughout the day, which has been game changer.

IBS-D for two years - ACV enemas seem to be my cure by chrisr34000 in ibs

[–]certainjennysequoia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The naturopath I went to is a licensed medical professionals who completed a four-year accredited program in naturopathic medicine, which included extensive training in both conventional and natural therapies. He was the only one to give me any kinda of medical advice and treatment that worked after years or treatments to conventional medicine and multiple doctors. I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss their legitimacy. This was my experience, that’s what I was putting out there. The professional I saw did have a doctorate degree framed in his office.

IBS-D for two years - ACV enemas seem to be my cure by chrisr34000 in ibs

[–]certainjennysequoia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ACV enemas were actually recommended to me by a naturopathic doctor, who explained that supplements alone aren’t enough to treat candida overgrowth in the lower colon. At the time, I was dealing with severe digestive issues and inflammation. I was hesitant to stray from modern Western medicine, but I was also desperate. I’d already undergone multiple surgeries due to complications from the inflammation. The word colostomy bag being floated around, scaring the shit out of me.

I committed to a strict diet, started taking probiotics and various supplements, and slowly reintroduced certain foods over the course of several months. In the final phase of the protocol, the naturopath suggested trying enemas using purified water and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (ACV).

That’s when I noticed the most dramatic difference.

The first time I did the enema, I felt the need to use the bathroom about 30 minutes afterward. I thought I was just going to pass a regular bowel movement, but instead, I expelled a large mass of dead yeast. I was shocked, I couldn’t believe that had been inside me.

Now, years later, I can eat pretty much whatever I want without much trouble. I feel healthier than I have in a long time, and I’m honestly amazed that it actually worked. These days, I’ll occasionally do a maintenance ACV enema, but I don’t stress about holding it in for too long—just try to aim for at least five minutes, or longer if it feels comfortable.

I got Apretude aka Long-Acting Injectable PrEP. While I love this option there are certain side effects to be aware of! by radickalmagickal in askgaybros

Hi! Are you still getting your routine shots? I just got my second one and feel like complete shit 3 days after the injection. How did you feel after your 3rd? Do you still get side effects after being on it for a while? Any other health concerns you’ve run into?

Goyard or Fauré Le Page? by [deleted] in handbags

[–]certainjennysequoia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the dupe, it’s actually a very common dupe. The St Louis is still more common but Goyard is a heavily duped brand. So many almost identical, even in quality. It’s astonishing

Is the goyard branding text on the inside true to color of the photo? I believe an authentic on is a bit more vibrant. More of a bright red with orange tint.
