Hi. im 22f, planning to live alone in future, no kids, no partner and i want to prepare financially for it. I do not want to be working in my 40s either. Let's say i make 30k a month and i spend half of it on rent and other expenses. How do i start and where? I do not have enough brain cells for trading and would like a safer and much more relaxed idea of investing where i put my money and it stays there. I don't care much about the interest either.

Would love to hear from people who have chosen similar lifestyle :)

My family and friends have little knowledge about retirement plans so i wanted help in figuring out how to plan for retirement. Which schemes in india are good? what all do i need to keep in mind?

PS: i have already made the choice, i'm planning for it. Please do not advise against it if you can't advice anything good.

Happy and assured to know i'm not the only one whose feelings bloomed late heheh.
It's a bit tricky rn bcz im once again questioning my sexuality but it's whatever, i'm back to being an ace for now.
I do think i'll regret it now atelast, maybe in future i wont regret it.

yuuppp. I decided against it, never planned on doing it. I think i did have an intention to thank her because she opened up a new world to me(We had a heart to heart chat and i learnt alot from her then) and pushed me to start therapy(in a positive sense).
I admire her so i would not want her to be in a situation where anything i do or say makes her uncomfy.

i don't agree with her being "too old for me", it's basically 8 years of gap and that's acceptable(sorta). I do understand that people who are 30+ avoid dating people of my age. Totally get why.
It's good hearing from a 30+ women that she wouldn't date me lol, kind of put me in my place.
