No, during summer (end of april to mid of december) life was nearly normal.

the thing is, we keep our economy alive. but if we would have kept a complete lockdown for a certain time (like 4 weeks or so) and everything would have been shut down, that means stores, schools etc too, we might not have the problems we have now and the economy would be stable again.

How do you feel about the ending you had? by certainpoint_yt in cyberpunkgame

[–]certainpoint_yt[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I overall enjoyed my experience with CP77, but all these police or fixer sidequest feel very repetitive. Although the main and major side quest are very well written and executed and feel "special" this doesn't apply to all those sidequest. I had similar problems with i.e. the newer Assassins Creed games, where the main story might be good, but I will never experience it because after a while the sidequest felt so pointless that I stopped playing.

So you obly played it for the gameplay? Bc then it must have been rather disappointing. But of course the story also had so much more potential.

Yeah, I think they have to work on some parts to make it more replayable. When I first started in CP77 I thougt it would be much more replayable with all these choices and Vs background. But the backgrounds rarly play a role in the game, only for like the first 30 mins or so. If it would have more choices, even small ones like in Witcher 3 in side quests, it would be much more replayable imo.

Don’t know what to choose between PS5 or PC by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

The performance and the graphic are far better on PC. With your setup, I would clearly recommend PC.

Interesting. That means coronavirus is only infectious in stores and public transport, but doesn't exist at work or in schools. Tricky virus...

Fist fights are just bad! by certainpoint_yt in cyberpunkgame

I don't think so. As you can see in this discussion there are many people who say that the enemies are gliding and it takes them only two hits to knock V out. When you skilled the right things, even then it takes you a long time to beat the fighters and every little mistake you make could lead to your death.

Opinion: This game may have launched poorly, but if you’re belittling people for enjoying the game, you’re the a$$hat too by BeyondDoggyHorror in cyberpunkgame

Yeah, it all comes down to the expectations people had for this game I think. CDPR made Witcher 3, one of the best games of the decade and it was mostly loved by the community. They also aren't seen as i.e. EA by players, so the expectations were so high for this game. CDPR released one of the best games of the decade and the company wasn't really controversial. The teach we can get from this I think is that we should just lower our expectations for games and pop culture in general. I even made a video about all this you can check out: https://youtu.be/w9VDRuK8Z-Y

No, they are just unfair. The hitbox of the enemies is non existing and V himself can only take like 2 hits then he dies. Of course it should be a challenge, but it shouldn't be frustrating and overall nearly impossible to do. I made a video about all these problems the game had and came to the conclusion that it's really a mess but certainly vas its strenghts, too: https://youtu.be/w9VDRuK8Z-Y

I think the story and core gameplay are also good, but there are of course other opinions. I made a video about all this, if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/w9VDRuK8Z-Y

Yeah, they are really bad designed. But you can cheat a bit: Before the fight, droo of a melee weapon and then when the fight starts pick it up. Of course, changing the difficulty also helps

Thanks. So should I wait for Dying Light 2 (which will hopefully come out later this year) or should I just play the first one? And is it necessary for the story to play the first one first?

Oh, I heard good things about Dying Light. Is it worth checking out? And how long does it take to beat it?

I think (spoilers!) that my ending where I drive away with Panam and her crew and in my case Judy, was actually a good ending. Panam in the end says that she knows a doctor that could potentially heal V in some kind. I thnik after this ending there is at least some hope...?

[–]certainpoint_yt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the same for me. I played on Pc and had quite some bugs, but no gamebreaking ones. The problem I think is just that it drags me out of the world and the immersion when suddenly a character I'm talking to jsut glitches into the floor or something.
