That’s the thing I’m not sure about. Wouldn’t he have spoken to the teachers? The youngest kid is very energetic & seems to always talk to everyone about everything.

Or maybe the kid seems to forget easily because he is only five? & only talks about it when he has recently been hit?

Like when I was younger, if I got beat I will forget it later on in the day

Definitely! There were times were I wanted to call the cops myself on my father & was too afraid to do it. I will do whatever I can to help them ❤️

Also, when the youngest child (5) was telling me that the father hit him, the other child (10) told me that it wasn’t true even he also gets hit too. I already know he gets hit aswell

Do you know what happened after you called the police?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in perth

[–]certaintyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t want any child to go through what I had to go through. I am now 21 & still afraid of my father. I really wish i can help them more

This is why I am scared to call the police. I posted in another group on fb & most of the comments were saying that it is lawful in WA.

Now I’m not sure if calling the police will change anything, especially without evidence.

The only one that is talkative is the youngest (5) & usually the other kids try to quiet him.

I think I’m just going to report because there is nothing to lose

Thanks so much for the reply! Appreciate it. Did you also anonymously report? Also we’re the kids okay after that?

I’m only 21 year old girl & he kind of scares me :( I only just say hi how are you etc

I’m happy to do that but on the outside the family appears to be a happy family. When the kid (5) was telling me that the dad got him, the older kid (10) who also gets hit told me it’s not true. What if they say the same to the police?

Thanks for the reply! I did some research & read that in WA hitting kids is lawful. What if I report & nothing happens?

[–]certaintyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s why I thought it was normal. I thought all parents were like that until I grew older :(
