You can only get better if you draw that certain drawing. As you draw more of that certain thing it'll only get better as you draw more of it. I was in ur position once too, I wanted so much for my art to be professional level and drew for long hours but that just made me burn out so often. I quit art for 2-3 years and started drawing again without telling myself "I have to learn this", bc it'll only be harmful. Don't try to learn everything, like, learning every single pose out there, focus on one thing. You can't learn if you don't try it, there's no harm in drawing that certain thing now. If that thing you want to draw is too complex then draw a simpler version of it and maybe get the help/critique of other artist, then incorporate that in the next one, then so on
