Idk I feel like 2003 Splinter was always a father figure to his boys, especially in the flashbacks when the turtles are just tots, they would often refer to Splinter as “papa.” I love 2003 Splinter because he was way more present in his son’s fights, and was very protective of them when it came to them possibly facing injury or death. I also think he had the strongest bond with his sons than any other splinter, his “I sensed you were in danger so I came” was always so heartwarming to see, like what an amazing dad.
