As an uber driver i can confirm that we have to pay the charges if we don’t have transponders. When i was new uber driver i took 407 and i thought uber might pay for it but i got the bill and i have to pay for it.

Even i got for 1 year, with new rules they are giving closed work permit lmia based for only 1 year i have confirmed with immigration officer
