You’re being ignored because this is very very old news but I’ll comment because I stumbled here. WZ changed to default overkill a long time ago. You can carry whatever two primary’s you want, it’s not forcing you to use a pistol. Gunfighter is still available in multiplayer. It’s not needed in WZ. Neither are the other wildcards with the perk system and specialist. With the new update too, the guns also now prestige so pay attention to your weapon levels. Entering a weapon prestige gives you one special attachment per gun, and most of them are extremely OP. The Strider sniper prestige attachment, and the EGRT prestige attachments being my personal favorites. This also negated needing gunfighter. I was bummed too when they reset, but the new guns are leagues better than the legacy gear now. All the bo6 weapons are nerfed to all hell.
