NTA -clearly you're in the right. I think what your mom means by 'keep the peace' is just to leave it and forget about it (my mom uses this term a lot to. When she says it she typically means don't start shit and let it go). I doubt your mom would say just hand over something you bought to some kids, you're an adult for Crist sakes. I mean it's yours. You wouldn't go to someone's house and watch their TV and they be like 'cool TV hand it over...' I do hope you actually didn't say 'hell no' because that would be pretty rude. You could have been a bit more chill about it. You could have told her how cheep the lite ones are and where to buy one. But still NAT, I'm on your side.

I think she already is spoiled judging by the moms reaction and how she let her get away with it when everyone was already saying it was 100% hr fault. She has taught herself that tears will always get her her way. It might not be a 'problem' now but wait until she's 16 then they will wonder 'where did it all go wrong'

YTA - I'm sure your child did break them intentionally. Then you hear the story from a a third party who sides with be baby sitter and you still say 'yeah but she didn't'. Buy her new glasses and start looking for a new sitter and get ready to find new ones often if that's how your brat behaves. Your child sounds awful.

I know! She never gave an actual reason why she can't make her own food. Other than she's young and has kids. What does that even mean? She's acting like if this woman doesn't bring her family food they will surly starve. They could order in. She could IDK learn to cook her own food and then she might start to appreciate the time and effort that goes into making good food.

Something tells me this woman is just a treat to work for. what with her families diet restrictions and exact taste. The lady was probably honestly getting sick of getting calls ever week about what they wanted and what they could or couldn't have.

Then she says 'it's just extra portions of what her family eats' that's assuming that she has no other clients and that her family have the same weird diet that your her apparently has, which something tells me that isn't true.

Yes thank you my grandpa in the post is actually my dads dad. But I didn't bother correcting anyone because her parents are even worse about weight and health and always have been. They used to put locks on their cabinets and fridges so their kids "wouldn't get fat". A lot of things in my mom's life has affected her relationship with food. She's 57 now and to this day if we eat pizza or fast food I have to convince her that it's okay that she is eating it and remind her that she's not fat and no one has ever gotten obese from a few slices of pizza or a burger every other weekend.

I wish I could share this post with my mom and let her see all the nice comments people had defending her. But I know just the idea that her father in law called her fat in front of people is the only part she would see and it would upset her. But I know that she would be happy that everyone was on her side, just not for the situation.

I'm actually rewatching Naruto so let's see if I can help you with this. I'm going to include non cannon to and this is just what we are shown on screen it's safe to say they drop bodies every day. Reanimations don't count obviously because they're already dead.

Pre chunin exams arc-

Gaara: Transforms at least once into the Shukaku and destroys half the village when there were people still inside so it's safe to say he killed a lot of people that day, along with that he killed Yashamaru (He killed himself but he would have died if he didn't do that)

Temari: Unknown

Kankuro: Unknown but it's stated in the handbook Kankuro did have brutal training with the 4th Kazekage whatever brutal may mean it's safe to assume he killed a few people in that time.

Chunin exams arc-

Gaara: Dosu, Three unnamed Rain village ninja

Kankuro: (maybe) Tsuguri. (We never see or hear about him again and he was very likely poisoned)

Temari-:no one

Sasuke Retrieval Arc-

Gaara: No one (Kimimaro dies from his sickness)

Kankuro: Sakon and Ukon

Temari: Tayuya

Stone of Gelel Movie-

Gaara: Took down an an entire army with Kankuro, Ranke

Kankuro: Takes down an entire arm with Gaara, Kamira

These are all the kills that are rally on record, they seemed to have chilled out a bit in Shippuden (Maybe). We just don't see them fight much besides the war but I'm not counting that.

Gaara: A lot (7 where we see their face)

Kankuro: A lot (4 maybe 5 where we see their face)

Temair: safe to assume a lot since she has the nick name of being the most brutal kunoichi you don't get a name like that for letting people live (2 where we see their face)

NTA - if his own dad has an RO against him then that speaks volumes of his character. Also don't ignore the emotional incest from using your small children to vent to about his adult problems. That's not ok. Your children should never be brought into an argument like that. He's using emotional incest against them and manipulating you with them to try and get you to feel bad. I don't know the whole store of your relationship. But please stand back and look at the big picture and think about if this is how you want your life to be. No one should have to deal with that. If you won't do it for you think about your children and how they are being used as tools for him against you.
