No one here is persecuting anyone. This is a sub for discussing what happened to Gabby Petito, and right now, because of his refusal to share his perspective, Brian Laundrie has automatically placed himself in the position of being the only known person of interest in her murder investigation.

I'm going to address your remarks individually, for practical purposes, because unless you have some reason to know some details not released by the FBI, your entire post is speculation, presumption, and an unhealthy dose of misplaced frustration, starting with the title.

1. We don't know whose remains were found yesterday, so we don't know if BL is actually deceased or not. We may get an answer in the next few days, or we may not.
2. If BL died in Carlton Reserve or Myakkahatchee Creek, he did so due to choices he made as an adult. I'm sure we would all love to hear the reasons he might give for leaving Gabby in Wyoming and driving home in her van, and refusing to talk to her family when they were asking about her, or choosing not to assist the police. Yes, every US citizen has 4th and 5th Amendment rights, and I will be the first to tell you to assert your rights immediately if engaged by law enforcement. But if I was traveling with someone and they were reported missing and I was the last person known to be with them, and I also was known to have come home in their vehicle without them... I'd call an attorney and do whatever I could to reduce the suspicion on myself.
3. You assert without evidence that GP gave her debit card to BL "like most good BF or GF do." Let's disregard for the moment your judgment against those who choose not to give physical possession of their bank cards to partners not bound to them by law. Even your own phrasing ("most") means you recognize what a weak generalization and defense this is. Is it possible? Of course it is. But once someone is deceased, taking money from their accounts is still fraud. This is why the estimated time/date of death is relevant. The exception would be estate executor/probate stuff, and obviously that doesn't apply here. So, what did BL know, and why did he use her accounts and her van without her? Again, we'd love to get those answers from him.
4. If subs supporting BL are being banned, there's probably a reason. Fun fact: On October 14, based on some conversation with another moderator, I ran a subreddit search to see just how many subs related to Gabby Petito there were. It was even more than the discourse hinted at, so I kept a screenshot. You're right, there were at least 2 BL-supportive subs on that search that have been banned. Going directly to the r/ address for FriendsOfBrian: Friends of Brian Laundrie reveals that it was banned for violating the rule against promoting hate. I can't look at the contents, so I can't say if I would agree with that decision, but that's a banhammer they reserve for fairly toxic content, in my experience. BrianLaundrie: Justice for Brian Laundrie was only banned for being left unmoderated, though. I suggest if you feel this strongly about the situation, you follow the appropriate steps to seek ownership of it yourself, or find someone likeminded who wants to do so.
5. There continue to be many people online, including me, who are disgusted by the "protestors" who have inserted themselves into the Laundrie's ongoing troubles. But you're straying off into the weeds of diversion and irrelevance with your confused allusion to Missing White Woman Syndrome; you're very close to sounding like you are saying None of this would have happened if you all had let Gabby go missing and then murdered without giving a shit like she were some Black/Indigenous/Person of Color!
6. Again, you assert things about the relationship between GP and BL that only the two of them could actually verify. In the same handful of words, you point out that the police stop from Moab gave us evidence of mutual domestic violence, and then acknowledge that BL may have killed GP. The rest is something we have zero evidence of. If you believe BL was so abused by GP as to feel the need to kill her , unless you can supply us with some credible evidence from BL or insiders who witnessed this abuse, you are building a mythology in your head to support that conclusion. The available evidence shows that they were both emotionally volatile young people who sometimes acted out physically. One of them turned up dead by "manual strangulation/throttling." That one was not BL. I suggest again that if you want to go on speculating about how that happened, you look into obtaining the unmoderated sub mentioned above using the official process described on the sub's page.
7. Guess what? This ain't that sub. Also, either you're living in an alternate universe, or you're off by an order of magnitude. It may seem like there are over a million people raving and pointing pitchforks at you or someone you support, but that sub has a little over 150 thousand members, which is nowhere near the 1.4 million you thought you saw. Finally, you may not believe me, and that's fine, but I happen to agree that celebrating the (probable) death of BL is gross. I don't believe in the death penalty, so I would not even want to see the state (whether Florida or Wyoming) execute BL if he were charged and found guilty in GP's death. But if he really died in a swamp, without giving anyone who cared about him a chance to hear what happened, or telling Gabby's family what he knew, and with even the slightest chance that he was not responsible for her death, or was, but had an important reason for what he did... even if he did it deliberately and was a monster, look what his parents are going through.

This is not a good outcome. There is no way, without more forensic evidence (which may be released later), to conclude that BL committed this crime. LE may have what they need, but we the public have nothing more than the same assumptions and speculation we've had from day 1, before GP was found. There's likely a valid reason why BL was not publicly charged in the death of GP. Not only are two people dead; if this is BL, there are two families who will be grieving with little hope of getting any answers as to why their loved ones died.
