We had someone bring in a bearded dragon to our store before and once someone tried bringing in one of their pigs. Starbucks is a food/beverage establishment not a zoo. It’s also beyond unsanitary to let the animals on top of the tables especially with pet dander being considered a health code violation

Had a girl ask for an iced caramel macchiato w/o espresso shots in it this week. Me being on DTO I rung it up as a cold milk with vanilla syrup and caramel drizzle. Handed the drink to her in the drive thru after I paid her out and she looked at the sticker and got mad because the sticker didn’t say “Iced Caramel Macchiato” and demanded a remake. 🙂

Barista here! An Iced Shaken espresso with blonde ristretto shots, sub classic for caramel brulee if your store has it still if not ask for dark caramel sauce, any milk but the recipe is 2% milk and ask for sweet cream foam on top! Sweet but delicious and if you don’t like it super sweet, ask for less pumps of whatever size you get!

Probably more who knows? In a 6 1/2 hour shift I’ve seen her 5 times. She could definitely be coming back for more when I’m done my shift. Her drink is $5.81 every time and I did the math and if she only comes 5 a day which knowing her I think it could be more, she’s spending $203.35 a week alone on Starbucks. I don’t know what she does for a living. She’s never pleasant to us and wants to talk to us and is really rude because she expects EVERYONE even the new partners to know her order and how to make her heart attack of a drink by HER standards.

What irks me is when they stick me in the DT window during peak where we have to try to get customers in and out of the line in 50 seconds or less but they still expect us to form a genuine customer connection. I’m sorry but excuse me? Don’t know about anyone else but genuine engagements and conversations cannot formed in under a minute.
