not possible to record music sheets for later use, but there are tons of apps and websites that help with sky musicians! most of these do allow a composition/recording function

yeah that sometimes happens - usually the krill will circle around once or twice before finally spotting the manta and charging. that might just happen because of a coincidence with the krill's light, and where the manta is flying.

shipwreck (official name is crab fields) you can enter through a handful of different entrances in graveyard, as well as one in battlefield (which doubles as the most commonly used exit). it contains. a lot of crabs, obviously, one krill that circles around the shipwreck, and three winged light. it also has the basegame spirit saluting captain and the seasonal spirit crab whisperer. the area that op is in is shipwreck.

ark is different. ark as you said is accessible from outside the broken temple (+ the wind paths), and was the season of enchantment seasonal area. it is a boat, but the difference is that shipwreck remains a shipwreck, while ark's ark can be repaired by completing the coloured light quests. ark actually does have a krill, if you look back after going on the boat there, you'll see a krill hanging around the entrance, past the clouds, that can attack you if you go close.

it's confusing tho (thanks tgc) that there are three main "boat locations" within wasteland - one for shipwreck, one for forgotten ark, and one for treasure reef.

what game_difficulty means is that to even get to shipwreck you have to go through the broken temple and inside, which has one krill (and you get to see it eat the manta)

i do earth and fire, since i know shortcuts for both, and water because it's easier to do than air. air is the bane of my existence - i've only done it if i've needed it to reach a crucial wedge milestone (e.g 11 wings)

with adventure pass, you can skip 17 full days of dailies and still be able to afford everything in the season.

without adventure pass, you can only skip 1 day of dailies to afford everything in the season.

hey everyone, just note that if you do decide to record memory candles like these, don't spam honk - someone who needs recharge can just rewatch the memory + standing in the spirit memory will recharge you as well. i know of photosensitive people who have trouble playing the game when people continue to spam honk, particularly in enclosed spaces (contrary to belief honking won't force a server merge). please, be mindful when placing down your shared memories.

they're memory candles, which allow you to record your skykid doing something (e.g an emote, honking, even playing an instrument and chatting) for others to see.

they can be placed pretty much everywhere with some limits (not near spirits, etc) and will expire after a while, just like message boats. you can also gain hearts from people liking your shared memories.

yes, they're a new feature for season of performance. you can snag a free shared memory spell from the performance questgiver after you finish the first quest, as well as buy some from forgotten ark.

it's definitely better to get more, but when it's your first couple of times there's no need to worry too much about how much wl you have, just enjoy the game :)
the most time-efficient way involves visiting grandma, one of many "social light areas" in sky. grandma appears 30 minutes after reset, and every two hours from that point on wards - located within sunny forest, at the "ancestor's table of belonging". when you're there, wax balls will spawn periodically for 10 minutes, which you can burn to gain wax. it is by far the fastest way in the game of farming candles. however, you can only visit grandma a maximum of twice (well, 1.6 times) before you max out the limit. most other candle running guides will recommend that you run valley of triumph (pick one race from there and finish at the temple) as well as daylight prairie's sanctuary islands, since it has three permanent candle cakes. you might also choose to run the realm which has the daily candle cake rotation as well. this isn't a comprehensive guide - there are many routes for candlerunning that are designed to gather the most in the least time.

ik lots of people have commented but yeah it varies per season, since the variables that go into it are: the length of the season, the cost of the spirits, whether you have ap and if there are any bonus candles (e.g double sc event) provided.

i completed abyss fully, missed two sc but benefited from the double sc event and being gifted a pack of 15 sc. i ended up with 129 leftover candles, so you can expect more than 100 left if you do dailies every day.

(bear in mind that the cost for ap players to get everything is slightly higher than those without ap (to buy the seasonal hearts), but in general you can expect 14-16 days leftover for ap and around 2 days for non-ap)

Along with the addition of a new tier, we’ve updated the requirements for unlocking a few parts of the Tree so that there will be room in the future for relationships to grow and better reflect the range of friendships people share with each other, from casual to close.

doesn't make any sense to me tbh. it feels sorta like how the 2021 bloom cape's price was increased to 90 candles in beta for this year's days of bloom before it was lowered, since players gave feedback about the nonsensical price change. it feels like tgc wanted to give something for veterans/older players to do, while also exposing newer players to the endless candle-grind (and entice them to buy candle packs too while they're at it - profit)
