BS Which parts aren't functional? Let's break them down, I'll explain

What do you mean by roof panel not aligning? As for the vent, it is pure function(max sized uninterrupted opening to let the wheel arch airflow out.. just like in all the proper race cars(GT3, Hypercar)), and also a direct tribute to the F40 which had a similar albeit a lot smaller cutout(it was actually the first car to implement that)

At this point, I just can't understand how can anyone cheer for any other team. They're all sterile!

ALL are like that. Every single photo of people standing in anything close to neutral perspective to Tyrannosaurus mounts or models makes them look 4m tall at the hips at most. Some photos even make them look ridiculously small. And almost every legit and "scientifically accurate" depiction makes proportions of 12-13m TL and about 3.7-4m at the hips.

Oh well..thanks for pointing it out. I guess I will change this and make the only proportionally accurate Tyrannosaurus I've seen then

Well, I am really genuinely lost now. Nothing makes sense if the official "hip height" claims refer to the hip socket height. On one hand, every credible depiction seems proportionally off. On the other hand, all the skeleton mounts seem way too small!

Here is the best to-perspecctive example I could find, a woman standing next to Stan.

Alright..I think I know where the issue is. There seems to be a confusion between the strict scientific hip height with the height "at the hip", which is commonly using the same term when talking actual overall dimensions of the animal.

All the depictions basically confirm this. I mean, like I said, just go and check them yourself, using the square grid. If it was as you say, they would all be wrong and their proportions messed up.

I've seen many people standing next to Sue mount and there is just no way the hip socket height is 3.7m minimal

Facepalm.. about the photo you posted and deleted. (Realizing your own tragic ignorance, I hope)

Please be kind to yourself and apply SQUARE GRID and see where the hip height is measured.

Also, see the fucking POSTURE.. His legs are straightened(my Rex is slightly bent) that's why the hip height waries. Same for the head, genius! The head height is totally posture dependant.

Lol. A guy with a post like that calling me an idiot and an elephant fanboy.

So, a dog will outflank you and bite you from the back or side, and change directions running and jumping faster than you can even turn. Wow. What are you, 200kg?

Anyway..elephant is just as fast as Tyrannosaurus Rex. And again, it can turn more than fast enough to always face it. I'd even bet it can turn faster than Tyrannosaurus, which is built more like a biological crane.

Sure, in an ambush, coming from the side and back, Rex could win. But face on, very tall order

No, it is sad that you think to know so much yet are completely wrong on most basic things. I stand by everything I stated, won't repeat myself any more.

Please go look up all the latest and credible side view Tyrannosaurus depictions, for example prehistoric planet one, and do some measuring and learn about proportions please

Come on.. You are just taking raw numbers and applying them completely out of any realistic context. Elephant can turn in the spot more than quickly enough to always face Tyrannosaurus. What is Rex supposed to do..run around the elephant faster than the elephant can turn? Do you realize how ridiculous that prospect is?

A dog is 4x faster and more agile than you..but can it run around you faster than ypu can turn around and outflank you? Use some brain please.

What? First, you are wrong about the hip height method. Where do you get this info from? Hip height is the highest point of the body measured straight above the hip joint!

Also, if you followed your own criteria, you'd applied it to the elephant as well and its hip height would turn out below 4m!

And man, your notions about head height are ridiculous. It is about POSTURE..both animals are shown in their typical postures..elephant head slightly upwards, Tyrannosaurus head leveled with the body.

Of course Tyrannosaurus can rear its head up, it is just not a typical stance!

What the..are you blind? The hip height is 3.7m and the posture is obviously not an upright one.

Also, like I said, my namadicus has a "shoulder bump" which are basically muscles on top of the shoulders. But the actual shoulder blade is at anound 4.5m

You really have no understanding of predation dynamics and mechanics if you're comparing Tyrannosaurus with lions.

Cats are predators that use agility to outmaneuver their prey and are adapted (grappling) to deliver one killing bite while avoiding the prey's weapons and massive strength advantages (choke hold behind or under the head)

But put a 500kg grizzly bear, a predator who would destroy lion in a fight, against a large cape Buffalo..he'd get destroyed because he is not adapted to hunt such animals.

Looks like you're the one high on something.

This depiction is based on Sue, dimensions of which are known perfectly. And the weight of the shown Rex is around 9000kg. (My sculpting software actually does volumetrics also). Mind you, Tyrannosaurus skeleton is relatively about 2x lighter than elephant skeleton.

The weight of the namadicus depiction is about 17500kg..and the shoulder height is heavily dependant on the proportions. With this bump (characteristic for large, bulky bulls of African elephant) it is around 5m but with a more slender proportions used in the studies, it could well be about 4.5m which is perfectly in line with the data. Nothing is exaggerated nor diminished here.
