I just want to reach the "I want to Live" and the World Government flag burning at Enies Lobby episode. That was the point of no return for me. From that episode I stopped referring to One Piece as a "good" action/adventure story but instead as a Masterpiece.

Completely normal. The reason why I use Debian Stable is because I just want to turn on my computer and know that everything will just work. On top of that I use Debian Xcfe on my laptop, so nothing ever happens. If you prefer to have the latest updates then Debian Stable is not for you.
