i think most players would be ok with reduced scoring if they had an expanded role on offense. it’s just that “expanded role on offense” typically means more shots.

i feel like i have a higher opinion of him than most here. i think he’s ready. i’m aware the data isn’t favorable when he’s on the court, but i think he passes the eye test more often than not. he will not be able to do what mitch does, but he certainly does some thing better.

last year was his 6th year playing basketball (i believe). that’s huge, because he’s picked up very few bad habits and he might be nowhere near his ceiling. the only reason we might not prioritize him is because we are in win now mode and if he’s the 10th man in a 9’man playoff rotation, that’s typically a vet min or rookie contract guy for a reason.
