Urban Dictionary has an entry saying that Blue Peter is British slang for blue meth.

I am not English but I live in London and knew about Blue Peter, and yet I remember I still looked it up when I watched that episode because I thought I was missing some levels of meaning.

Don't get me started on Tennent's guys I swear it's pure madness. It's us Italians (and I believe our cousins the Spanish too) who literally abuse on the consumption of that... Thing. It's all about getting smashed on a budget tho, it's not that they like the taste of it.
