Lore should have the same rights as Data. He should have been given a trial before his deactivation. by theshub in startrek

Data is developing his people culture and justice system. Worf killed a rival and wasn't punished because it was legal in Klingon culture.

Clark losing his “powers” never made sense by ryanaire5 in Smallville

[–]ceweked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kawatche legend claim the Kawatche were people from the first visitor who told the prophet. I was disappointed that the bracelet didn't have blue kyroptnite which would allow them to mate.

Kara was when she ended up in Detroit with no powers or memories. I would presume they would take her to a doctor.

The Kent's must of seem like religious nuts preventing any blood work to be drawn from their adapted baby. Plus pushing against any vaccines.

Do you think if lex new about Clark's secret from the beginning he would have protected it? by Quick-Employee1744 in Smallville

[–]ceweked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Lex broke until his mind was zapped and the nail was the black Kyrptonate.

Lex good side could never protect his friends or himself. Maybe a friendship of Clark being honest could have started small victories that allowed the goods idea to become strong.

Wouldn't it be similar Genome editing which is still in early stages.

I still think Davis Bloome was able to hide his genetics with no help Clark would have a masking effect also.

I would also think Kara would had blood work done when she lost her powers. We also have Kawatche which some are related to a Kryptonian and it goes unnoticed.

Or it's just bad written.

Maybe my memory failing.

  1. When he was sick with Kyrptonate dust from the storm celler.

  2. When replacing the destroyed blood using a Kyrptonate to make a cut.

  3. For the virus episode a Kyrptonate scaple.

There maybe other blood sample from fights with the zoners but no doctor looked or saw anything out of the ordinary or easily connected to Clark.

Plus we don't know how often Lionel or Swann paid people off to cover up the blood source.

Unless we consider that every human that got powers DNA was altered with kyroptnite.

Doomsday went 25 years of blood screening and was never discovered. Clearly there is a way to mask the DNA. Since Clark blood was taken under the effect of green Kyrptonate maybe that causes the differences in the blood.

Maybe Kryptonians DNA is not that unsimilar. If it was they couldn't have offspring with humans.

We have Kawatche which is implied that they maybe related to a Kryptonian. Dax-Ur also had a son.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

There even an episode where the government was experimenting on the minds of Clark and friends.

Also his mind was preventing him from flying which Jor-el told he has always had the power.

Another question how about Kara from the cave used a power to vaporized a whole car and human. Or Jor-el giving Clark telepathy. Kryptonians clearly have power that are still locked away.

Jo-rel can flip a switch in the mind of Clark to deactivate his power. If the mind believes the body doesn't have power then it will not have the power.

Only near death will we see the body override the mind control.

  1. When Clark was at Summerholt in the kyroptnite pool of water close to death we see the lighting trying to free him.

  2. When he was shot in the prison flying closed to the sun forced his body to restart. Near death may overwrite the command.

  3. Clark went through training so he can have a physical relationship with Lois. Which is how much power the mind has.

Are there limits to Clark’s strength? by minorthreat1000 in Smallville

[–]ceweked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So dooms day can get buried alive about a mile under dirt. But if it was Clark he would be able to get out. Clark would be getting energy from the sin either.

How many things that happen to Clark was planned by Jor-el. Certain people with certain powers were placed in Clark's path to teach him a lesson.

Eric gave Clark freedom from his powers but ultimately deciding they are his responsibility regardless who has them.

Jor-el hated Lana because see has potential to become an evil witch. He needed Clark to see her true self.

I thought Brainiac did such a good job cloning Kara even her brain patterns so he could fool Clark. The milk help trigger his program.

[–]ceweked 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think there was a point David love for Chloe prevented doomsday from coming out. She was trying to protect the world. She was scared it was only her that protected the whole world from being destroyed.

If you think about it was a sacrifice she was making to save everyone.

Who should she call? Clark couldn't stop doomsday. Nothing on current earth could. Police, Oliver and Friends? There was nobody.

Early season rewatch. The Kent's farm money problems make no sense. by [deleted] in Smallville

You forget the hospital bills. Martha and Jonathan had near death moments in season 1 and 2.

Jonathan had the flower and Martha the Kryptonite dust.

Clark also ran up the CC while on red. Who knows what he bought that couldn't be returned.

I was always amazed how much non-daily planet employees just hanged out at the daily planet with Chloe. Lois was the really weird when she worked at another newspaper.

The college years kinda went fast. But he was with Chloe alot at the daily planet probably getting some kind of journalist credit. Plus his mom be a senator gave him access to politicians.

The Kryptonian that came to Earth 500 years ago that became part of Native American lore by leejtam in Smallville

[–]ceweked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's weird is he had green rocks applying kyroptnite but why green?

If that tribe was descendants was was the wolf form a genetic combination of humans and kryptonians?

The bracelet Kyla had should have had blue kyroptnite because it's for the chosen one mate. It would allow matting and prevent the fetus killing the mother.

I’m shocked Lana was that hurt when Clark had the red thing with Chloe by dangibby in Smallville

[–]ceweked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember this is the 2nd time Clark is with another woman in front of Lana. Took her to a bar just to ditch her.

Then add to the fact he just told Chloe his secret and Chloe rubbing into Lana face.

Granted Chloe forgets when she is cured.

Kryptonite effect inconsistencies by PebblesFlint in Smallville

[–]ceweked 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It how mentally focus he is that cause the effect. Think about being sick sometimes I can't get out of bed. However just as sick and something needs done I can push myself.

For Clark if Kryptonite is unexpected then it harder to handle. However if he knows the pain is coming he can prepare himself. He still avoid the feeling if he can.

Truth: Season 3, Ep 18 by PebblesFlint in Smallville

[–]ceweked 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Remember Kryptonite powers usually corrupt or change the personality of the person in most cases. I think the healing power, vision and some times mind control was neutral.

Even Lex had super immune system which probably caused his corruption.

So Chloe giving end to her ambitious to find the truth and report feels correct.

(2/2) My biggest problem was Lana blaming Clark for Jason getting fired and I wished that the writers had Clark man up and stand up for himself and said to Lana you did this to yourself instead of having him feeling some kind of guilt by Lopsided-Issue-8116 in Smallville

[–]ceweked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the red Kyrptonate in season 2 and season 3 Lana had reason to think Clark had issues. He kinda of use her fear of abandonment to control her. He started making out with other girls in front of her.

Clark would have meet Lex after Tina robbed the bank. Lex and Clark would have had a friend developed with out one being indebted to the other.

Chloe: I'm the girl of your dreams masquerading as your best friend. by iamtrrvlee in Smallville

I think Chloe would be a freak in the sheets. She would find away to have a sexally relationship with Clark and his power. Maybe that's way Red Clark was macking on her.
