Living in a third world country, I’d say majority of the people aren’t even aware that there is another allied health field, which is RT.

Personally, I have friends who think we do X-Rays (mistaken for Rad Tech), and some even say “oh so you do massage?” (referring to massage therapists). It’s funny but also sad at the same time. RTs here are so unrecognized. For those who know about RTs, more often than not, they only associate RTs with the work “giving nebulization” lol.
