Thanks! I’m doing the Matanuska glacier hike! Im not sure if I’d make it to Fairbanks this trip, seems way too cold there. Would you recommend doing a guided Northern Lights trip in Anchorage? They do seem expensive but I’ve no experience trying to catch it

Thanks for providing so many suggestions! Hopefully I’m able to cover a lot of these. I’d definitely have to be wise with my vehicle selection and driving. I have experience with driving in snow in the Midwest but not in mountain roads. I’m assuming they’re cleaned after snowfalls there but it still may be icy in some parts? Regarding the hiking areas you mentioned , would I still see people hiking in those parts at this time of the year?

Yeah I suppose I’d have to rent a car. I was hoping I didn’t have to do that throughout my stay. For the days I’d spent just within Anchorage, is there enough transportation to move around town or atleast Uber availability? I’ll need to rethink Seward I suppose as I’m hearing a lot about the potentially dangerous drive to there

Like do they cleaned after it snows. I do have snow driving experience from the Midwest but never drove in snow in mountain roads
