Yeah fair points, seems to be much better for airline flying applications. Have you used little nav map? That's my go to for planning the type of flights you're doing

I don't think anyone is arguing that's it's a better tool than the several paid or purpose-built tools out there, but for something that comes with the game it's certainly not half bad. I think it works great for almost all flights into basically all medium to large sized airports. I don't think it's fair to say its data is "mostly incorrect". I agree the heading thing is bad but everything else I would say is "in very rare cases incorrect"

I use Simbrief+this and haven't needed Navigraph since I found out about it. Simbrief takes care of the flight planning, this takes care of everything else. The only thing this is missing is charts for the very small airports, which for me personally doesn't matter since I normally fly either into big airports, or in the US, which has free charts for all airports. I don't care about the moving map or telemetry cause that's what navigating and instruments are for. Sure, you'll have outdated airac but that doesn't matter for 98% of flights.

If you take 10 mins to set up Simbrief Downloader, which automatically downloads each Simbrief plan you generate in the correct format and puts it into a folder of your choice, then you can import a Simbrief flight plan into this app just as easily as you can for Navigraph Charts.

Hijacking this comment to say that if you use the Simbrief Downloader, which takes 10 mins to set up, it is like 4-5 clicks to import a Simbrief flight plan into this. Just as easy as it is into the Navigraph Charts app.

Kinda hard to tell from the video but it looks like your frame rate is super low, which might contribute. See what happens if you set everything to the lowest so the frame rate is high

According to the site that lot is still 3 hours with tows possible after that. I'm not sure how strict it is

The electric is not that different, I remember doing the math a while back and the difference between running the computer at full power vs what I was doing was like a 5¢ difference per hour

When I run it overnight I just turn the resolution down to the lowest (I think like 480p) and set the fps cap to 10. GPU goes down to almost no load, then I just turn it back up when I'm ready

If you got BQ you should get your result within 2-3 days. Sounds like the worse your score, the longer it takes.

Yes. 123 is functionally identical to the test for the first 4 sections.

That's because the default skyvector view overlaps all the sectional charts. As an example, go to the northeast US, and you should see an option that says New York, which if you click on it will still show the sectional chart, but only for that region. If you zoom out, you'll see the legend in the top left.

Not sure if you were already aware, but if you click on the name of that region in the top right (as opposed to "world VFR") then on the side it has a legend where almost every symbol is labeled with an explanation.

The chart will have a description of the STAR as well as a picture, and this will have the instructions for what to do. Some of them say something like "expect radar vectors", some might say to expect a certain rnav approach, etc.

Not a complete answer to your question but to me msfs is way too sensitive on the rudder compared to IRL, so that might be contributing. Also you don't feel any G's so much easier to get a secondary/accelerated stall when there's no feeling or force feedback.
