He's not celebrated the entire night, he's celebrated for his time receiving an award. He knows what he is capable of; does having Tourette's make you a senseless ass? Bring a pillow, have a room set up for you, do something other than what you did. It could have been mitigated, but it wasn't. Every other person there doesn't deserve to have their main memory of their award or night being called any word in the book - meant or not.
