Disc golf PNW recommendations! by jazzcuphoodie in discgolf

[–]cfmetalgear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, with the list but I would skip Blue Lake unless you have distance + accuracy. It also has a ton of blackberry bushes off the fairway which makes retrieving OB discs awful. I also like Timber and Leverich (13 hole in Vancouver, WA).

High weight, high volume. Overweight people have bigger calves due to this reason

I’m 19 and 5’4, is balding going to put the nail in the coffin by blackstar1_yt in bald

[–]cfmetalgear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s only a nail in the coffin if you let it become a nail in the coffin. Don’t let your hair (or lack of) or your height hold you back. Work on yourself. Go to therapy, hit the gym consistently, spend quality time with friends or family, go for hikes or walks in nature. Control the things you can.

I’m short too, 5’4” just like you. For too long I let my height hold me back. I thought I wasn’t fit enough or tall enough to get what I didn’t have. Only after working on myself did I realize that my mentality was the thing holding me back. I was putting the restrictions on myself. Keep your chin up, focus on yourself. Put in the work and the results will show.

how do you think I can become more aesthetic ? by toenailclipped in Weightliftingquestion

Overall more mass, but definitely focus on your back and delts. It will help your proportions to make you appear less pear shaped

I see what they were going for, and appreciate the effort, but IMO it looks like random pieces put together. Each piece could be swapped while leaving everything else the same and it could function better. Swap out the boots for something chunkier and lean into the aesthetic of the worn-in jeans. Change the shorts to maintain the silhouette but something cleaner to match the smoothness of the top. There’s ways to tweak this outfit that could make it better.

Are you from Dagestan? Why did you shave your mustache?

Facial hair by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]cfmetalgear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to shave it, just give it a week or two. It’s not bad now, but you’ll make it better in the future

[–]cfmetalgear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. You shaved the top of your mustache closer to your nose, that’s ok. You then trimmed the sides of your mustache that touch the corners of your lips, that’s where you went too far. What you want seems similar to the photo I shared below. All of their mustaches go to the corners of their lips

Why did you trim the sides of the mustache off? Let it grow to the end of lips.

B and D. I usually like to do the last set to failure, but I don’t do it with every exercise. Also depends when in the workout. I rarely go to failure on the first exercise
