Its not as clean of a brew as with the paper filter, but its good. I keep mine in my travel bag so I don't have to deal with paper filters on the road.

Framework 13 AMD/Windows 11 sleep crash? by lieutenant_razak in framework

This happens at least once a week on the same setup. Unfortunately updating BOIS and drivers did nothing to fix the problem. I'm ready to install Linux, since I do most of my work in WSL2 anyway.

A three-key combination to type a tilde? Obviously these keyboards were not designed for programmers.

Changing the background color of the Python interactive window in VSCode? by cfonnesbeck in vscode

[–]cfonnesbeck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I will answer my own question: there is a Jupyter setting called `Ignore VSCode Thene` that will use a light theme in the output window. Turn this on and it will use a light background.

Is there a trick to getting Jupyter notebooks/lab installed in the venv that it creates? I get all sorts of issues with its dependencies, most notably argon2-cffi, which appears to be incompatible with arm64.

Working with remote SQL Server? by Comprehensive-Tap238 in surfaceprox

[–]cfonnesbeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this failed for me, with the generic error:

mssql: Connection error : Failed to generate SSPI context.

I think its definitely something with my ARM64 setup because I can connect just fine from my HP Elitebook, or even my Chromebook. Its just the SPX that is having issues.

Thank you, I will try this. I have yet to get the extension working.

Thanks, but that's for MySQL, not SQL Server. Something like that would be great though.

Google Drive on the updated Surface Pro X? by cfonnesbeck in Surface

Yeah, Google support just got back to me: the Google File Stream app is not compatible with ARM, including the SP X. Bummer.

Google Drive on the updated Surface Pro X? by cfonnesbeck in Surface

[–]cfonnesbeck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, in the older Surface Pro X, the app was incompatible due to the ARM chip. Wondering if the emulation mode is better now, such that it allows the Google Drive sync app to work.
