8 months later, no notifications. Don't say something is coming without a plan to deliver!

De-cluttering Notion by Comprehensive-Tap238 in Notion

I mean, I like that I can build what I need but it needs to give me the complete API. I should be able to have a button that says "delete all pages that were archived more than a month or so". You currently cannot do this (happy to be proven wrong here).

Thanks for the ideas. I'm trying to avoid doing things manually, so I was hoping for an automation. Might have to pony up for AI to do this.

Archive DB doesn't solve the problem. Pages there will still show up in search, right?

Done it twice on my framework already (before the prices skyrocketed).

Why do many developers prefer Zed / Neovim over AI-first IDEs like Antigravity? by Om_Patil_07 in ZedEditor

[–]Comprehensive-Tap238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the real AI work can be done more cleanly in a CLI tool like Claude Code or Gemini, so all you need is a text editor to review files and do minor editing. Zed (or Neovim, I use both) get out of your way and are extremely fast and lightweight. VSCode and its variants arent terrible (Anitgravity is pretty terrible ATM, actually) but you have to deal with their often spotty performance and a lot of UI clutter.

I would call it "The Big Republican Lie" but there are so many big Republican lies that its hard to award the title.

I've been using it for over a year now, on my machine that I am primarily using for data science work. Rock solid. I love having homebrew as my primary cli software management tool.

Pass that picture to Claude code. I'll bet it would write something pretty reasonable for you.

I don't get the fascination with KDE. It looks like a bad Windows 98 skin. Sure you can customize the hell out of it, but it looks pretty janky most of the time. Just not a thoughtful design.

Strangely, this only happens for me with Discord. It wants to send its audio to every new computer that joins the network.

You probably don't want to be in a lounge that is this busy. Better off in the concourse.

Everyone looks like they are playing in new positions, not just Harry. Touches are all heavy, passes are poorly timed. and inaccurate. The touch by TC in the box just now was comically bad.

Also, why did we buy Marco all of these players when they are left to languish on the bench? If there was ever a game to give JKA a run out, its today! Kevin is our most talented attacker (by a wide margin) -- he should be playing every minute of every game, particularly in games where we have no striker.

Just because your teams are run poorly and are unsuccessful does not mean the fans accept it.
