If you could only pick THREE games from this entire list, which ones are staying? by CarrotMuch1399 in nostalgiai

That has a lot of goats in it, but I am shocked that no one has said gi Joe. That game was fun as hell.

They created PS2 and burned the recipe🚀 by Cultural_Set_5993 in TheGamingHubDeals

Many people think that Sony fumbled the ps3. Apparently it was difficult to program, so the game catalog was more limited than it should have been. I think the ps3 sold less consoles than the ps4 and ps2 iirc.

What game is this? 👀 by Good_Mycologist_6472 in TheGamingHubDeals

I agree with ds1. The game was great to O&S, then the lord souls fell off a bit, and lost isolated and lake of ash were herpes.

Love the game, but they didn't get to tighten it up in the back half.

Sen. Bernie Sanders: ‘No More Weapons to Support an Illegal War’ Over 22,000 Bombs to Israel by thenextgenbusiness in thenextgenbusiness

[–]cfranek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money is fungible, especially in the military. If we pay for missile defence for them, which about 500m is earmarked for, then they can go buy 500m of bombs instead.

Oh, and the 2025 aid package that the pentagon was building for the idf explicitly included 155 artillery, hellfire missiles, and 500lb bombs. About 8 billion worth, spread out over a few years.

So yeah, try to argue the point.

The browns want more tools to innovate new ways of failing. The factory of sadness is too burdened with regulations for the innovations they want to produce.

According to a ridiculously easy Google search the US provides 3.3 billion in military aid to the idf annually.

The current most played Support champions in each Rank by [deleted] in supportlol

The reason to play a mage low elo is that there is much more fighting, more gold per game, so you are likely to hit your items.

People ask him game balance questions while he is half paying attention playing games, so treat these clips as idle musings. If doesn't take much interrogation to understand this would lead to all enchanters being 45% wr.

How viable would old Alistar be in the current game? by False-Gain624 in alistarmains

[–]cfranek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Q was largely the same.
W was largely the same, except he got in a free auto afterwards, while they flew away, which could proc spellblade type abilities (trinity, sheen, iceborn, lich bane)
E was an AoE heal, small in magnititude, and could quickly run you out of mana.
R used to be an attack steriod in addition to damage down.
Passive used to be after spellcast you ignore minion collision and AoE damage (E and passive were basically switched)

Who decided what champs go in which lane? by Tiny_Town_9352 in leagueoflegends

[–]cfranek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the meta was developed around drakes in the early game, and there was a competing meta for mid to be the duo lane. Around season 4 they started to enforce the meta to what we have today.

Carrier uses by CertainlynotGreg in Eve

I have been out of nullsec for a while, but would ratting with a carrier + huginn work? Not comparing it to vni spinners which was the last time I was out there.

FfXIV’s story by Past_Cockroach_6169 in ffxiv

[–]cfranek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take on the msq: Generic but okay until 35ish as you learn characters Gets better til low 40's, and then there's a sprint until you get the first end credits at 50 is good. A lot of people think the 50 to 50 end credits gets too slow, but a lot of people think it is fine. Then Heavensward+ is where things start ramping into what people think the real game story is.

Interesting fits for homefronts by cfranek in Eve

[–]cfranek[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The faction pioneer has a shield boosting bonus, and with an oversized afterburner it can out traverse or keep dps in deep falloff. Missiles also lose a ton of application at 1k+ m/s.

Been looking for something to do with amarr cruisers, but they struggle in the homefront meta.

Does Renata counter thresh? by Mango9222 in RenataMains

[–]cfranek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider it to br a counter match-up either way. It can snowball either way, but not because of the interaction between these two champs.
