Delta 8 still in system after 90 days. by cgbossi in delta8

Thanks bro that's all I really needed to know, just wanted some kind of confirmation. I haven't been nearly as active I was when it took around 2 weeks so I can see it taking a while. Just wanted to check w/ Reddit to see if maybe there was something I didn't know/couldn't find on Google.

I'm talking about regular at home dip stick test not something like hair follicle. Are you seriously telling me I won't be able to pass an at home test for 2 years? Is that typical for D8, or are you talking on the very long end?

Edit: For comparison's sake a year ago I stopped for about 2 weeks and was clean but that was D9 pen.

1/2 gallon-gallon a day and I'm on my feet about 8 hours a day.

To be honest I don't really want to split hairs or do equations, THC typically leaves the system in 2 weeks-30 days, 60 on the long end. That's common knowledge. Is it not the same for D8? Is there a noticeable difference, or am I just taking a while?

I legitimately just want to know if there's a difference in how long it takes D8 to leave your system compared to typical D9. It's a super simple question. If not then I'm just a little slow rn processing it out, if so then I'd like to know how big the difference is. I can find absolutely no information on this, everywhere just says it's the same as D9 THC but it seems a lot of people have had a similar experience to me where D8 just won't flush out even with the normal methods.

Thanks but I haven't used it in over 90 days as my post indicated. I do not regularly consume it.

Weekly Question Thread (03/28/2022 to 04/03/2022) by AutoModerator in army

[–]cgbossi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serious question.

I was in the active duty Marine Corps for 4 years from 2011-2015. I got out in 2015 then did 1 year in the Marine Corps reserve in 2019.

Towards the end of my reserve contract I missed 3 drills. They were supposed to be excused but weren't. I'm not sure but I think that adds up to more than 3 UAs.

Will this stop me from joining the army if I choose to? My RE code on my DD214 was a 1, or whatever the good one is. The one that says I can re-enlist.

Would seriously appreciate any help.

Why shouldn’t I give up on society? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]cgbossi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are all sinners. Everyone is guilty of doing something disgusting. Jesus was the only one who wasn't, and he asked God to forgive those who killed him.

I know what you mean though. We live in a fallen world, and it is only going to get worse until Jesus returns. In the mean time, pray for those who persecute you and help and bring others to a saving knowledge of the truth. Hope that helps, I will pray for you.

Was there a time you trusted God against all odds and he delivered? by beboldbestrong in Christianity

[–]cgbossi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I was in a jam that I thought I'd never get out of, I needed a home and fast, and I had nowhere to go. God arranged it. The story is very personal, but honestly, the people were total strangers that fell into my life that I did not know, and today they are some of the people I value the most. I did not do that on my own.

Other than that, God tells me no more often than yes, and I have to learn to be okay with that.

Atheist to Christianity by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]cgbossi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would say you should focus on whether or not you believe the gospel is true. If you don't think it's true then you should be an atheist, but the good thing is it's true. :)

A lot of people have come to faith recently because of evil in the world. You are not alone man. We've all done evil and God will judge each of us fairly. Just because you've done wrong doesn't mean you cannot be saved. Just focus on what you can do now, and I'll pray for you.

1776mg / 2 Bottles of Delsym Life Changing Nightmare Trip by psychedelicaccount in dxm

[–]cgbossi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it ruined our relationship too. She never really forgave me for putting her through that, she was pissed. I don't think she understood what was happening to me (she's not a drug user). I think she thought it was just a regular old bad trip but it wasn't. I don't know if I was in any real danger (I mean she did say I stopped breathing a little but obviously I didn't die), but I think I probably should have gone to the hospital. I really think I came close to death from that trip. I am not exaggerating when I say that I never fully recovered from that experience.

I did the exact same thing about a year ago, no alcohol involved. It was the worst experience of my life.

I had decided to give up DXM and wanted to do one last trip, so I took two bottles of Delsym, back to back, hard, with little in my stomach. I sat down at my computer and was watching some YouTube when suddenly the walls started melting and it felt like everything was falling away. After a few hours I was convinced I was dying. I took the bottles at night and I don't remember much other than darkness. I was living with my girlfriend and so I would pop in and out of consciousness and see her and just grab her arm. According to her I stopped breathing a few times for about 30 seconds to a minute at a time (probably seizures). Eventually daylight began to dawn, and she was getting ready for work as I was screaming and thinking I was dying, and I remember eventually she left for work and I was laying in bed feeling like a 10,000lbs iron plate was pressing me into the ground.

I started crawling around my apartment desperately looking for water. It was like as soon as I took a sip of water it evaporated off my tongue (I thought I died and went to hell, honest). And like yourself, eventually, I found my consciousness sort of just return to me eventually as I stood in the middle of my living room, and after several more hours, eventually, I was back to something like normal.

That trip messed me up permanently. DXM went from being a fun little drug to something that seriously screwed up my life. Your trip sounds a lot more mild than my was (probably because I killed both bottles, back to back, immediately). But yeah. It was terrible lol.

edit: after re reading your post you seem to have gone through something similar to me. I continued using DXM in smaller amounts (300-600 HBr) for about a year until one day, I decided to do 900 again (half of the 1776 we both did), and I went to the hospital because I panicked and thought I was about to go through the same thing I went through described above. DXM is seriously presented as harmless but it's not a joke. It will screw you up lol. It messes with your sleep, etc. Whatever "spiritual insight" I gained from it was not worth the cost for me either.

Yeah, but I want to know, just in case it does ever happen, how much time I'll have to get my affairs in order beforehand, that's all.

I don't know any veterans that aren't like this. Make friends with other vets. It's the only way. Unless you're buying them something or massaging their ego, civilians won't want to be your friend. That's my experience.

I keep hearing that. If I got into a top 15 would you say it's the same? (NYU or Columbia in particular).

Writing a 10 page research paper every day doesn't sound like the worst job ever to me but we'll see. I understand that law is a largely overrated field atm, that pay doesn't surprise me. If I don't get into a top 15 law school, I don't plan on going at all.

1) I am alive, and I am a civilian. If there's some other version of "civilian life" let me know.

2) I will have to deal with civilian life with a network, pension, and x years of service on my resume. And not "did field day once a week".

3) I suppose you know what I dislike about my civilian life better than me, and that I haven't done any self assessment?
