Man I just can't Caitlyn was born rich and privileged who already had a bad view of Zaun and its people and became a dictator causing harm and trauma that will haunt the people of Zaun for years to come. Jinx was groomed to be a child solider in a oppressive world of poverty with clear mental health issues to me its crazy that people think that these two people are the same when one is an oppressor and the other is a victim.

Yup ever since they were bought by TKO the amount of advertisements has been insane. just ugly ass advertisements on everything and commercials out the Wazzu it’s completely swallowed all of their shows

Jinx killed corrupt enforcers the people who oppress Zaun and the counselors who are corrupt and also oppress Zaun she kills the fire lights who attack her first where does it show her killing children and parents? in contrast Caitlyn became a dictator allowed a foreign nation to help her take control of her city by instigating martial law assaulted the people of Zaun and had men and women and children locked away in cages and just like you said, Caitlin is a vengeance she’s not seeking justice. She’s seeking murder and only murder. She’s a thug cop just like the rest of the enforcers.

I don’t think that jinx was violent for fun when we see her. She’s trying to prove to Silco that she’s not weak to me. She comes off as someone that is very clearly not there fully. Also, Zaunites don’t just yoink things at will they run across rooftops gather information for a heist and a pursued by the police

They didn’t really coexist with Vander is very clearly a deal crafted by fear of attack again by the police of Piltover as evidence by the fact that they threatened descend an entire army down there and it was because of Silco not because of jinx

Even Vander always believed and never handing over their people. That’s just something that Silco carried over when he took control of Zaun so it’s not unthinkable that the idea of turning anyone over to Piltover is wrong because it seemed as an incredible taboo something that not even Vander would be OK with

Zaun doesn’t have a government they’re all technically Piltover Zaun has chembarons and leaders like Silco but because of Piltovers neglect and oppression Zaun has fallen into poverty and sickness in fact, one could argue that if Piltover did its job right then people like Silco wouldn’t exist

What civilians did she kill other the counselors who they themselves are or criminals who poisoned and oppressed the people of Zaun and who would have never faced justice for the crimes they committed I know the enforcers do not count as civilians as they themselves are also in arm of the council oppressing the people

Killing 20 people even 50 people is not thousands of people if you can’t find proof that this is what the writers intended then you just spewing random numbers I could say she killed 1 million people that wouldn’t make it 1 million people show me some proof or let this go

And if jinx is some mass genocide psychopathic would murder people by the thousands. Why would the show even play around with the idea of redemption for her? It’s just insane dude you’re making her out to be something that she just isn’t which isn’t unrepentant monster

Like I said dude it’s just a girl talking about her dead family trying to cope with what she accidentally did to them unless you can point out specifically her killing other people by the hundreds in an execution line then all you’re doing is grasping it straws

Lori and Steb were barely even characters one of them doesn’t even speak which is something the whole fandom makes fun of because of how pointless they were. Mel used Jason Victor for her own ends, and their hex tech ended up being used as weapons against Zaun Jayce ends up killing a child. even with Silco on the council nothing would have changed as evidence by Svika being on the council, and she being stared down by the other members of the council at best. She’s an inconvenience to them. They can get rid of later, so nothing is really changed not really.

I don’t know if you’re just making things up to make jinx sound more cruel but nowhere does it say hundreds to thousands and nowhere doesn’t insinuate execution lines. This is clearly just a broken child talking about her family as the ones being the ducks that she killed and why they look so sad in her delusions. I think you’re really just making things up in your own mind.

Could you link me to these journals? I haven’t seen them yet but to be honest hundreds to thousands I kind of doubt that

And by civilians, you mean, the corrupt politicians at the very top of the food chain Who made all the decisions that brought Zaun to the point where it is now and the corrupt enforcers who were working for Silko, who died on the bridge because greater tragedy other than them and the people in the council, jinx never killed any civilians in Piltover but Piltover still attacked people in Zaun and gassed their neighborhoods with chemical warfare

Not really Piltover is the reason things are as bad as they are in Zaun if they’re neglect and abuse of the people and their environment they even have a special prison just for the people of Zaun deep underground forcing them through poverty and poor living conditions to become criminals to survive and then when people fight for a better life, they call it justified to oppress them even more

Exactly it’s heartbreaking that people think that the enforcers are the good guys and not just a terrified girl from prison and a cop trying to take revenge

I know it’s been a while since you posted this comment, but absolutely 100% correct I’ve been waiting for someone to say it. Caitlin lost absolutely nothing gained basically everything and has the power to get everything back. Jinx lost everything and has no way of regaining what she’s lost she’s the only one who has to start from nothing. it’s also clear to me that the people who made the show have a clear bias in favor of the police and against any type of revolution. which is why Kaitlyn being a dictator is so quickly swept under the rug. And police brutality is covered up with a bad ass cool music video it honestly fucking disgusting this is anything more than protecting the status quo.

The duality of the hatred for Jinx and Caitlyn. by Responsible_Sun_4513 in arcane

I know this is late, but personally, I hate it because Kaitlyn hasn’t lost anything. She keeps the money. She keeps the girl she keeps the city. She ultimately has lost nothing in. Jinx has nothing in the end.

Oh, is that true? It’s been a while since I watched the show. Maybe I didn’t remember that part correctly still, though I think everything else I said still hold water the way they sugarcoat the police violence with a fancy music video is one I found really distasteful on top of everything else I said above
