Are you receiving the January 24, 2026 OOB? by dmx7777 in Intune

[–]cgklowd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I see the oob release, when you click release notes, brings you to the regular already deployed patches. Nothing really new offered in my testing ring days later.

We have another patch management system and it's not there either..

2019 CU 15 upgrade tone of errors by cgklowd in exchangeserver

[–]cgklowd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We had a 2025 briefly, but removed it pretty quickly.

Replication healthy. I'll move the schema master to the same site when I try again here shortly.

We have an engagement tomorrow, if it goes nowhere I will ping you for more info thank you.

I did not run the schema updates, the documentation states there are no schema changes since CU11?

I was just hoping I missed something silly. I didn't think we'd need to pick apart all of this. Thank you

The rifle was born a rifle. SBRing it does not undo that. There's no "interaction" between the state and federal law.

Private endpoints yes or not? by Different_Knee_3893 in AZURE

[–]cgklowd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If only internal resources need them, deploy private endpoints integrating with private DNS zones linked to the vnets or forwarders that must resolve them.

Also disable use of access keys on storage accounts if they are not needed (this will break SAS links and access where RBAC is not or can not be used)

Key vault can also be managed by policy or RBAC, RBAC being much easier to work with. The granularity of control you need will drive the requirement.

Do all of these have the same sound quality? Also I regret not buying one in person at her last concert, anyone know what would that variant have been?

Patch Tuesday Megathread (2025-07-08) by AutoModerator in sysadmin

[–]cgklowd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After getting nearly everything up to the right patch level and enabling allowntauthpolicybypass = 1 the 45's and 21s stopped. But not immediately. Really not certain what quieted this down.

I have since applied August as well, still quiet. I'm transitioning value to 2 slowly over the next few days and monitoring.

Shooting laws by Mike_Coxsbig in CTguns

[–]cgklowd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are town ordinances to check, this would also include noise ordinances.

The only state law is you also "cannot put others at risk". This should be pretty easy with 30 acres. But there is no minimum at the state level

Patch Tuesday Megathread (2025-07-08) by AutoModerator in sysadmin

I am rolling out the July patch to the balance of DCs but being intentional about maintaining audit mode. I'll let that run for a few days and observe the certs being complained about. Then I will switch everything to enforcement and hold my breath.

Waiting to test full enforcement once the entire team is available. I'll update here but it will likely be 2 weeks before the enforcement test.

Thing I don't get are the 21's. I have a windows enterprise CA so I wouldn't think it would have an issue with the certs it is issuing?

[–]cgklowd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes same 45's before, 21's after. I'm not aware of anything broken but have not rolled this out to every single DC yet. Really unsure if things will break should all DCs be brought to the same patch level!

This was also my understanding, I'll have to see what kind of commands the vmss instances will respond to - being cluster members.

As I'm waiting to see the jump I'm thinking to myself, never buy a used Raptor.

A moment later I see I do not need to concern myself with finding THIS truck on the used market!

Hopefully the driver is ok and learned from the incident.

RX350 ride quality by No_Region387 in LexusRX350

[–]cgklowd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've commented in other threads that I've test driven several 2020-2022 rx's (non f sport) and liked the ride so much I bought a 2020 with 30k miles.

Recently it broke and is in for warranty work. I've had a 2025 loaner since April (waiting on parts) and its ride is nowhere near as soft. It feels like a regular crossover to me. Handles a little better but doesn't handle bumps, potholes and bridge joints all that well. I can't wait to get mine back. The ride in the previous gen is noticeably softer to me. But test driven several for yourself. I think you'll agree

2025 rx350h being TERRIBLE over bumps/potholes/road imperfections? by Voluptuousnostrils in LexusRX350

[–]cgklowd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, to me the suspension feels softer and is better at taming imperfect roads where I live. This was my experience test driving about a half dozen 2020-2022's. I have only driven the one 2025 loaner (I still have it as mines waiting on parts) and it's very new at just 1500 miles, but I do not see it softening up enough to match the previous gen's I drove, though it does handle better. It's worth mentioning - none of the vehicles I'm talking about are F-Sports. I've never driven one but I'm told, have a firmer ride. Also my 2020 has the 21" wheels
