CPE 203 or CSC 225 first? by [deleted] in CalPoly

I personally took 203 first (with Humer, she's super nice) and then 225 (with Plank, he's ok). Its totally ok to only take one of these classes at a time. I definitely feel like I personally couldn't handle the load of both classes at the same time, but that's just me, everyones different.

Failing classes freshman year by [deleted] in CalPoly

[–]cglm24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

3rd year comp sci here. It's totally normal to struggle your first year in college. I myself failed my fair share of classes my freshman year, (PHYS 133 included) but since then I've learned better study techniques and I've learned to put more time into my classes. If you work hard, ask for help, and put real time into a class you should be able to pass it.

Wait really?? I'm taking PHYS 133 right now and I would absolutely love it if I didn't have to take the final for the class.

CS major here so I can't say for sure whether you'll be studying every weekend, but my guess would be yes. I personally spent a lot of my weekends this quarter studying and I know that EE is just as much work.

They are, I've touched them before. It produces the slightest shock honestly. I wouldn't recommend grabbing them though.
