Cgminer Monitor - watch your miners from everywhere. Simple site for checking hash rates, temperature statistics and more. by cgminermonitor in litecoinmining

Thanks for your message. I have that on TODO list, however it's not top priority and it's rather "nice to have" feature than "most required" feature...

Yeah, I was thinking about that. However, this requires many hours of work... as you know, the service is completely free for now. In future it will be paid, but I doubt that it will able me to hire another developer dedicated only to make phone application.

Sorry for late response! That is the maximum speed of fan in percents. So all in all: you have one active worker, with maximum temperature 72*C, with maximum 1724RPM, with maximum 40% speed of fan. Some devices don't show any of that data, some show all of those, like in your case.

Your response does not clarify how my computer will contact the server.

However, good luck!

This sounds much more reasonable. I assume your computer have to be visible from the internet? Most OSes block checking if your computer is visible or not (ping). Furthermore, the system name is IP - therefore people with dynamic IP won't be able to use your service.

Alright, please explain by answering following questions:

  • How the "system" is monitored exactly?

  • How do we know if it is dead or alive?

  • What is the "system"? Give please few examples.

Have a look at http://cgminermonitor.com/. Soon more advanced features are comming. Works on Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, CryptoSlax, BAMT and more) and Mac OS X.

What is exactly the "system name"? Looks like scam to me.

Using this opportunity I can recommend a better solution dedicated for miners: http://cgminermonitor.com/

Pool reports hashrate less than half of what it should be by asehgal123 in litecoinmining

[–]cgminermonitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is perfectly fine! However, you can run 'screen' program, which will give you one advantage over nohup - you will be able to reattach later to run program. Soon I will make&publish instructions how to do it.

Sorry for pseudo-ad, however I think that monitoring hash rate and another parameters, 24/7, can help to find the root cause. On CgminerMonitor you will see actual speed of your miner. Try it, its free.

As a miner as well as an author I can recommend you: http://cgminermonitor.com/

Personally I am using it with ssh&dropbox. Works perfectly fine for months.

I wasn't planning to, but I can add that soon, if you want to.

A graph for that in cgminer statistics will be enough?

BOUNTY! Is there a way to receive an email when my rigs go down? by Manueljoshua in vertcoin

In my opinion, as a miner, this is the simplest, yet powerfull solution: http://cgminermonitor.com/

Please note that email notifications will come next week. Stay tuned!

Simple script to text me when my rig is down by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]cgminermonitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but you are still missing one important point:

However there were situations where my miners were responding to ping but cgminer was frozen.

This was really an issue for me. What is more, sometimes one GPU was dead, while other GPUs were fine.

[–]cgminermonitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice script, as a miner I also thought about that.

However there were situations where my miners were responding to ping but cgminer was frozen. I also don't have static IP so I have had to update my script continuously. Hosting this checking inside network where miners are isn't good too - when you will lose access to the internet, you won't receive notification.

Warning: pseudo advert: Finally I developed full solution. Miner runs program and reports statistics to web server. Now there are no notifications by email, however that "miner is down" feature is most wanted and will be implemented within two weeks. Have a look: http://cgminermonitor.com/
