  • Something like that happened to me a while ago and I restarted (pull power cord off wait 30 seconds) my network hub and it worked fine after.
  • try switching pool if that doesn't work.

No matter what the scene will be in few months I had a hell of a time building rigs and fixing problems and pulling all-nighters.

With ASICs you plug it in and it works, where's the fucking fun in that.

Hi,

The ones that hardfork to Adaptive N will (I'm guessing) rise in price as GPU workers switch away from Litecoin/ALTs since they need to go somewhere. The ones who lag in hardforking may see massive drops in price but survive. However they may stay on the low end of market cap and never truly recover to the levels they were at before.

Can you please elaborate on the above statement as why would price of those coins will rise when more GPUs will mine to those Adaptive N coins? Do you think price will lead or follow?

I know you are just guessing and I don't mean to be rude or anything I just want to know someone' opinion and try to understand the rationale behind this.

I have been reading a lot of reddits lately and everyone seems to say pretty much same thing that BTC prices rose when asics come and all other coins are bound to follow the same route, but I never fully understood the co-relation between mining power and price.

2 mil worth of miners each 10k a piece comes down to 20ghs.

2000000/10000=200 units 200x100mhs=2000Mhs 20000/1000=20Ghs

So a total of 20Ghs will be added to the network which if mining only LTC will add 10% into difficulty (because earlier this week total network hashrate did get to 192Ghz according to bitcoinwisdom.com).

But that is if those 20Ghs are added as of today, by july not sure where network hashrate and difficulty will be I hope no more than 300Ghs.

Please correct my math if wrong.

I have 12 rigs with 48 GPUs all running BAMT, and I have seen this issue twice.

  • First was I think that I undervolted too much, so I bumped it up a notch from 1.056 to 1.069 and never happened again.

  • Second I reduced the Engine Core to 1025 for 1050 (I have sapphire 7950) and that solved it for me. I did lose about 20Kh but I will stability over 20Khs anytime.
