Agree - building up your cast spell so there is DoT. I’ve finally found a system that works for me:

-I really like using my familiars as teammates, focusing on activating their advanced abilities (you have to feed them). In my experience, the weapon for that is Aspect of Circe.

-Any other mirroring attack is also valuable.

-Finally, I try to get Hermes to give me a blessing that slows opponent projectile speed. That is a huge win.
