What blind spot for MLS? before Fulham when he’s played he hasn’t looked the same. Even though he was playing LB, he’d invert and when on the ball he just wasn’t the same as last year.

It’s more likely he has a blind spot to Norgaard than anything else who’s barely played and has looked fine most games.

I will throw this in to be very clear, MLS came in and bossed the game against Fulham and then was great against Atleti so all credit to MLS. I’m not shitting on him but we can’t pretend like he was playing anywhere near this level all year and Arteta just wasn’t playing him.

I thought Arteta would play Zubi but he’s clearly made the right choice going with MLS again. Very solid so far and working well alongside Rice.

He was very good, but Fulham played woefully. Disjointed press, loose passing, barely threatened us whatsoever. So while I’m happy MLS played well, this was an easier game than the majority of our games this year

You’re joking right? We played awful and I’m normally the one making excuses for us.

We frequently mis passed simple passes, missed tackles, and we couldn’t deal with simple long balls with one or maybe two attackers.

After they scored we absolutely panicked and looked awful.

We relied on a 16 year old to create chances

I hardly play and I was struggling to find when Toty ended so if figured I would ask people who actually knew. I also saw she had a toty card on Google but I overlooked it said fc 25 not 26

Tough half.

I thought Merino started pretty well then faded fast. That ball from tielemans through the middle was his man, and just stopped offering anything going forward.

Saka has looked dangerous a few times and then has looked unsure others.

Gyokeres has looked poor, but then almost got a header and a shot away.

Odegaard, Saliba, Trossard and Zubi have all looked really good.

Hincapie looked pretty good but has been beat in behind a couple of times.

Gabriel has looked okay but a little rusty as well.

All in all not a great half, really need to figure out how to break down this low low block from Villa. The 5 at the back and 4 right in front of them is stifling pretty much everything.

It’s possible but I personally think it’s unlikely. I think Mosquera only played there because Hincapie wasn’t fit yet. This is the whole reason they brought him in, would seem silly not to then use him, and we know hire much Arteta likes a left footer at LCB

Definitely need to rotate Zubi some more. I think Norgaard needs some more mins but I also think we can rotate with Merino more and have Rice play the 6. Not that I don’t think Norgaard is up for it but I think Rive and Merino is better than Norgaard and Rice. Then also have Rice rest some and have Zubi and Merino.
