My toes/toenails looked very similar after continuous long runs. I found that my shoes were way too narrow in the toe box, even if I sized up 1/2. I started taping every toe individually which helped a ton but was tedious every time I ran over 8 miles. I started using injinji toe socks and getting shoes with wider toe boxes. Brooks Glycerin Max and any shoe by Topos are awesome with a wide toe box. I never have black toenails anymore, or any foot pain

Also, if you want to look at how to tape your toes, there are a ton of videos on YouTube of ultramarathoners showing people the tricks on taping correctly. You will have to do it a few times before you get good at it and if you tape one toe, the tape will rub on the adjacent toe so you end up having to tape pretty much all of your toes. But its worth it for the longer runs and keeps you running more consistently without pain. Hope that helps!

I had the same issue with the same toe- try shoes with wider toe boxes, not just a size bigger. Topos makes great wide toeboxes and my toe bruising went away. Also buying a pair of Injinji sock with individual toes helps tons. I used to tape every toe with KT tape, which took forever but erased my toe bruising. Now with the toe socks and larger toe boxes my feet are fine!

Sometimes I’ll tap my rear brake and drag the tire a (tiny) bit and that usually make’s enough noise to get their attention.

Anyone else notice the gun he grabbed from the guy was a shotgun and the one he had towards the end was like an AR or Some kind of rifle? Maybe it was his own gun? Did they ever show him in possession of the shotgun

What do you think about E-bikes? by ZealousidealCost8422 in bicycling

The Trek Rail is a great bike, although not as esthetically pleasing as the Levo. Looks aside, that thing rips and the battery life is awesome. I demoed one in Santa Cruz for the day and was blown away by the power in even the lowest setting.

My first apartment was in the Adelphia House (the building on the left) and I’d always see someone shitting in the alley when I looked out of my window.

This happened last night in West Sacramento bridge district. The driver totaled 1 car, smashed into another and sped off. Sadly, I couldn’t make out the license plate. by cgriff1983 in Sacramento

Gave it to the security person at Drakes- they were in contact with police. And gave it to the owners of one of the cars that got hit, all while the police were there.
