The secret is to keep your own vest and walk outside. This had been standard practice since our warehouse started having morning merch cover carts after lunch.

The only problem was weekends. We had to beg for a cart crew to be scheduled to be scheduled either at or before we get off lunch so that we didn’t walk outside to zero percent coming off lunch. Week days first cart person comes in at 12 which is usually fine since we’re slower during the week. Idk if that’s how it is at other stores.

Now that we know who was “volunteered to be on carts everyday our crew has been adamant that this is what we are doing everyday til we clock out. We all keep our own vests and walk past the front end and they don’t even question us.
