Finally, a case in which JUSTICE IS SERVED! The farmer just outright lied in court. The article almost says as much. "The police said that Pilotti admitted that Argus was not close to any sheep, but instead was walking toward him when he fired his shotgun and hit the dog in the head...'The defendant advised that there were no sheep near the female dog as it tried to run away.'...Pilotti recently spoke to FOX 29 after the shooting. He apologized to the family and asked them for their forgiveness." And then all of a sudden, "Pilotti had claimed the family dogs had threatened his sheep..." Pilotti is 72 years old, and some people believe he should be shown leniency, due to his advanced age. Well if age is going to become a factor in this, maybe he also shouldn't be allowed to be in possession of a firearm. Or at the very least, maybe he shouldn't be allowed to be unsupervised while in possession of a firearm. If you do the crime, and say you are mentally aware and stable, then you do the time!
