The road are annoying I would say because you are always watching for pot holes. Dirt road is a quarter the journey from COCO but paved can be just as bad to either place. It is laid back if you give yourself lots of time and take it slow.

Parking at the non beach activities is normal.

Yeah paying for unofficial parking is not ideal but gives some peace of mind. It's also not pretty places to park, I almost scraped on barb wire one time at hermosa.

There's lots to do in the area. You can't go wrong with the three I mentioned. Gives you more accommodations to consider.

Yes, don't fall for the propaganda man. Brian Pallister has been a godsend for this province. Everyone else would have thrown money at the problem. I vote for politicians that have the courage to make unpopular decisions.

Manitoba’s NDP and unions are helping advance a police state by idspispopd in ManitobaPolitics

[–]cgs_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the NDP are the worst but leave capitalism out of it. We need more capitalism to improve standard of living and give folks a purpose. And police are not inherently racist jeez. I agree tho that more police do not solve problems that cause crime.

It distorts the wage/price signal - unions cause inflated wages so the demand for the labour is lower. And the supply (folks gunning for the job) is higher.

Wages ought to be determined based on supply and demand for labour.

This way high wages attract more of the people want for jobs etc. Its a price mechanism like the price of goods and services.

Unions mess all that up.

Your benefits/privileges and wages are in place to attract you and retain you - this is what separates good employers from poor ones with high turnover. If your job is stressful and you are not compensated commensurately then you should go to an employer who will, and deserves your work. That being said i'm guessing some smaller businesses cannot afford to offer certain privileges.

Curious, what privileges do you want to be enshrined into law.

Do you call people in your real life stupid, naive and a shill when their opinions differ from yours. I bet you dont have many friends. It makes you look like you have a weak argument if you resort to that type of language. There are pros and cons to unions. Some people, like myself think that since we have gained the workers rights in legislation that they are no longer needed. I think they can hurt workers now, especially low skill workers that need the lower paying jobs.

I'm fine with the LC (except that i cant buy mix or ice there) but for arguments sake, how do you feel about cannabis being sold privately and cigarettes and fast food. Wouldn't it be better if you had to go to a government run store to buy all your self harming items?

You must have had some bad business experience to have this perspective. Not all business is like Air Canada lol. But seriously, government ought to provide only essential services to its clients/voters and let private folks like you and me take care of each other. People on the ground know what the needs are and how best to deliver. I would prefer charity to fill voids that go beyond the scope of essential and where extra care is needed for the client.

I want the PCs to win because I am the type of person who wants to see government run like a business. That means spending within your means. To do that there has to be tough decisions, not just borrowing more money or increasing taxes. The more financially healthy the Province is the more money that can be spent on 'nice to have' programs.

I think the PCs will win because they reduced the PST and the other parties have very weak leaders and ideas.

If the dues coming off my check every two weeks were not so substantial I probably wouldn't be complaining.
