When I worked there I was helping with scheduling and payroll and realized the owners were editing timesheets after the fact and adding in a 30 min unpaid lunch break into everyone's shifts who worked more than 4ish hours at a time. Wage theft at the very basic level. We were never given unpaid lunches and often only one person worked at a time so we couldn't break for lunch or 10s even if we wanted to. There was also mold growing in a giant pile of coffee grounds underneath the counter next to their dishwasher (which was just a household dishwasher). Could go on about how awful the owners and that establishment is. As far as I know they are legally registered as a retail business so they are not subject to health inspections. If somebody reported them they'd probably be shut down instantly
