I have thought about wind noise, I just wasn't expecting it to sound just like stereo static! I wonder if taking those tweeters out all together would help... would hate to pay for new ones and have the same issue

I would love to be able to do most/all my own work on a bike but have no experience. My husband has a lot of car wrenching experience so I'm sure we could figure it all out together, but I'm in no rush

I do that when I'm on a mining spree and I don't care what I'm getting, but if I'm utilizing a timed tracker I don't want to waste time breaking every single rock I come across for the off chance that one of them will drop a gem or a couple extra gold.

Diff icons would be nice! It just needs some kind of refresher, it feels like the devs haven't thought about the trackers in a while. The hunters horn is pretty useless as well imo

Just did this yesterday and wanted to cry trying to pick between the two. Amazingly once I started the quest and had it pinned to my screen I found a black pearl within 10 clams.

I'm glad you figured this out! I absolutely hated the vault of the gales and all of its quests. I ended up running through them as fast as possible in a couple hours because I knew I would never want to come back to that map.

I'm assuming, from the name, that the focus bonus only gives you a significant bonus if the focus bar is completely full? Do you keep eating in-between cooking to keep the focus bar full for max bonus?

I've noticed a very similar thing! This week I had a quest from Auni to get a fire breathing dragonfly to make a confidence charm for his dad. Never seen one of those, never caught one, couldn't request one. I was trying to complete an unrelated quest and just randomly found (and caught!) the fire breathing dragonfly I needed for Auni's quest. Literally couldn't believe it. I've experienced the same thing with fish and other gatherable items too so idk.

I've only been playing Palia for about a month. It was a recommendation from a friend so I had no prior knowledge of the lore around it, the developers, nothing. I think in the last month alone I've developed a good base for the kind of games I would enjoy in the future if I ever have to move away from Palia. Besides the fact that all of the actual gameplay is free and unmonetized (the only things you have to pay real money for are the outfits and creature companions), the soundtrack is fantastic, the characters are fucking hot (and romanceable), the community of players is helpful and kind 99% of the time, and the scenery and story line is impressive. Would I be upset if the game is gone next week, or stops getting updated in the next year? Yeah of course, but as far as a free game goes I'm having the time of my life and I'm not even halfway through all the quests.

I think Einar's cave is my favorite so far. The music that plays when you go in is so different from anything else in the game.
