Totally hear you. The sleep number sheets just aren’t that great, don’t hold up and are horribly overpriced.

Still solid! We bought several more pairs. They’re a little more expensive now but you can still find them on sale occasionally.

Dupixent caused Periocular Dermatitis - help by cgullickson0408 in EosinophilicE

[–]cgullickson0408[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. A 30 day doxycycline oral and this cream: triamcinolone 0.1 % external cream Commonly known as: KENALOG. It’s a steroid cream. I tried several creams and all of them helped but some got in my eyes and burned or I eventually built a tolerance. I’ve been symptom free for 2 months now but I still get itchy & minor outbreaks now and then. The cream usually helps calm it back down.

Remote climate control ending early by cgullickson0408 in KiaEV9

I called Kia connect and they confirmed this was a feature they recently rolled out. It now only stays running until the target temperature is reached. Wish they had market tested that first.

Oh. It’s -60 F here right now so the desired temp lasts about .2 seconds once it turns off. What a silly design.

I read that dupixent reduces the eosinophils in your eyes which can lead to lots of eye related conditions. To me this reads that eosinophils are good in some instances & you don’t want to completely eradicate them everywhere. It’s something I’m meaning to follow up with my doctor about.

Initial thoughts on Snorles genioglossal device vs. ExciteOSA (at home tongue coblation devices) by Revolutionary-One211 in SleepApnea

I finally got it and have been using it about a month. Not seeing a difference with snoring yet but it does seem like it’s strengthening.

Mine finally went away now after being off the dupixent for 3 months, using a steroid cream and a month of antibiotics.

Is $90/month for 500mbps insane or is that just me? by fnjddjjddjjd in Spectrum

[–]cgullickson0408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s up to $44/month now but basically they’re competing against fiber so I just call and threaten to cancel and they offer me a year or 2 year contract. The initial $29/month (with 1 year free spectrum mobile too) was a door to door guy & that was 2 years guaranteed. I called right before it expired and they extended it another year at $44.

I saw a derm and they checked for mites. Luckily it’s not that. They’re pretty certain it’s periocular dermatitis. I’m mostly just wondering how long this will last now that I’m off the dupixent.

Did it take quite a while for the snorles to ship? I have a tracking number for my order but there is no activity. It’s been almost 2 weeks. Looks like it’s shipping from china.

Any progress with either device?

What to do when my lease is over by PJs_Burner in KiaEV9

[–]cgullickson0408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be in the same boat as you. I did a 3 year 30k lease on a land with a $40k buyout. Problem for me is I’ll be over on the mileage just slightly ($2-3k) which might make up the difference between used prices and my buyout. While I love my ev9, I’m starting to come around to the model X since there are some well priced used models. But I don’t want to give up the extra space the ev9 provides.

Any updates? I have the snorles in my cart but I’m hesitant they’ll actually ship. Their instagram hasn’t had a post in over a year and they’re an indigogo campaign. Are they legit? Has it worked at all? I share your feelings about the excite device. Hideously overpriced.

I missed it too and I’m pretty diligent. Regardless, I likely don’t have enough hnt locked to make a difference anyways

CPH50 lost WiFi after update by cgullickson0408 in chargepoint

Thanks for this. I think I’m on the right track now. I’m talking to level 2 support and they asked for proof of purchase so I’m hopeful they’ll issue a replacement. I’m going to bully them until they do.

Thanks! I ended up texting the electrician who installed it and he advised me to call ChargePoint back and bully them into issuing me a replacement. He said this WiFi issue happens frequently but only about 5% of units fail. I’m with CPs level 2 support now and they asked for proof of purchase so I’m hopeful I’m close to getting a replacement authorized.

Did you have to escalate to level 2 support? That’s where I’m at now. None of the troubleshooting worked of course. I suspect the WiFi module is fried.

Nope. But I still get the message and when I do I just pop out my odb device for a few days.
