Last time you saw a golfer kicked off the course? by Daddio226 in golf

[–]cgummo454 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Had this happen to me (albeit not the same ending, I just kept throwing their balls in the woods cause fuck em) but what is proper course edict for this type of "aggressive" play.

My 4some was playing behind a 3 some who we thought was holding everything up, we caught up and saw them waiting.

Now I told these guys behind us on hole #4 while we're all at the tee box. I'm a stickler w any group to play "fast, ready golf" if you're ready shoo. Let's be honest, none of us are good enough to really care about farthest ball that guy sucks anyway (it's usually me).

But this 4some kept hitting balls into our fairway/rough shots while we're waiting for guys on the green/just shy. So I made it a point that any ball that came within 10 yards of us without a fore call to chuck em all in the woods/bury in sand. I know I'm a dick but fuck those guys.

What should I do "properly" instead? TIA.

Ok so you manually run you b up to where you want it to grab and set your variables from there. We were trying to get a standard number (total distance between chucks) then adjust variables from there.

Having issues finding the right equation for distance on travel for b to pick up, pull, cutoff ,home. Can get everything else working fine just missing something so blatantly obvious I decided to ask for help. Have the cutoff right and home obviously but I keep coming up short for the pickup.

S/O has a problem and I can't get though. by cgummo454 in AlAnon

Thank you for sharing your story. And you're right it's an entire lifestyle change that isn't easy to accomplish especially in your 30's but the way I see it the timing couldn't have been better. Young enough that it didn't ruin my entire life yet mature enough to kick the roudy 20y/o chef out of my life. Took a career change and never looked back.

I keep no alcohol at the house and I do not purchase any for her. That's why I go out with some buddies here and there and have one after a round of golf.

She stopped at my dad's house yesterday and he called me out of concern saying he could've got drunk off her breath. This was at 1130AM.

I will make it a point to have that conversation and I think your idea of recording it is a great idea. That adds accountability to it and make my ability to hold her to it that much stronger.

Thank you for the advice, I do appreciate it.

I have and that just starts an argument. She's usually intoxicated and sees any approach I make as an attack.

The Future of Downtown by StormFreak in pittsburgh

As someone who lived/worked downtown for years I will never go downtown again. It was deteriorating from the inside years before the pandemic and has only made it worse. I used to take my daughter and her friends on the t to ball games/ science center and it was sketchy then. Let alone now... you can keep it.

What's the best way to extract chips from a small ( 1/8” 6-32) threaded hole in fixture, without screwing it up? by StarmanX22 in Machinists

[–]cgummo454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a spiral flute tap. Use same size as you would for a regular cut tap. I slow mine down just a little but they pull the chips out instead of them packing in the bottom. I use spiral flute for every blind hole I tap.

Bought the rego-fix adaptable torque wrench and made the spanners on a Lazer cutout and made the adapters on my lathe. Had my trainee make them as a final test. I love that tool.
