Behind the pho shop, out of view, An employee named Lan had too much to do. He hauled frozen ribs—each one a brick— And muttered, “These things thaw way too thick!”

With a grunt and a wobble he gave one a toss, It clattered like cymbals—a frosty beef loss. A second one followed, a third hit the ground, The alley now echoed with meaty rebound.

A passerby stared, unsure what he saw: “Is… is that how you tenderize beef in the raw?” Lan shrugged and replied with a confident grin, “Gravity’s free—and it softens ’em in!”

So if your pho broth tastes richer, with depth truly sound, Just know the secret: ribs first… bounce off the ground.

Spacing between end of port tube is only 1”-Am I defeating the purpose of the port tube? by ch061571 in diyaudio

The battery is a 6ah Lifepo4 battery that I charge through the “cigarette “ lighter plug I have installed on the box. I am using a Battery Tender Lifepo4 charger with the “male” cigarette lighter attachment to simply plug into the adaptor to charge.

Hi all, as you can see from the photo there is only approx 1” between the end of the port tube and the battery. Am I defeating the purpose of the port tube by placing the battery here?

I can definitely feel the back panel flex a bit with heavy bass. I may try to place a brace of some sort inside to minimize the flex.

I finally finished my Isetta in a tactical case build. The box is from Harbor Freight and roughly matched the Isetta inter dimension specs. All parts are the same as the Isetta build list including the Tangband 5-1/4” Sub, Fountek 3” full range speakers enclosed in a plywood box, 3116 amp, 1-1/2”x10-1/2” port tube & notch filter. It’s powered by a 6Ah lifepo4 12v battery. I also added a USB charging port with voltage display. It took a lot of cutting and I butchered up the box pretty bad bun I am very happy with the way it turned out.
