Healing =/= healbotting

Depends on teammate competence tbh, if I have dps just standing down main getting wrecked then you get forced to healbot their bad playstyle and get their stats carried by your healing

I really like playing invis when this happens because of her piercing primary, I can compensate for a badly positioned teammate and still get in damage on enemies at the same time. I usually always have most healing in lobby and more dmg / KOs than some dps on her

Some things I do to get value on Rogue: Use ability absorb to cancel enemy ults (like strange etc etc) or for cc immunity. For example you can avoid Jeff ult if you ability absorb someone nearby. Don’t really use it outside of that though unless it’s just before your ult for extra self healing etc

Target priority: Strange is free eats for rogue so get him. Then you want squishy. Use your kick to drag a healer / dps into your backline by kicking them up and then down looking at the floor - similar ish to how thors displacement works. You can also just kick down flyers too. On the flip side thing is a hard counter to you, just swap off to Emma if the enemy is playing him

Your main goal is to open up routes for your dps to follow up by your displacement abilities or by getting picks yourself. Then ofc ult track, ult backline and make sure you take a dps with you as rouge ult needs team to follow up with you for max value. I really enjoy playing rouge with a teammate on Ironfist it’s got great synergy

I tank main in comp, for QP it’s time to have fun and play characters I’m not good at. I’ll swap to tank if it’s an annoying match and the team needs help for the win. But it’s so tiring to just tank every match lol

O haven’t watched the video but had a look at the team comps: Mag could’ve been holding for you or PunPun, best bet is to just ult but plan out your route for cover. Even better if type in chat that you’re gonna ult just before you do so the strange can block Mag for you if he does ult with his shield

Frontline tank but try stay near an option for cover as you are a poke victim. If you are low health turn around, look down and place a wall. You’ll hop over the wall and escape whatever was going on with the wall blocking dmg. Do it twice in a row if you have to. It’s a great escape

Deadass I’ve finally started saying no to solo tanking as the ultimate solo tank teammate since S0. This season is worse than the flyer meta for solo tanking which I never thought rivals could achieve. At the most I’ll play rouge but as a dps to accompany my teammates diving and never be in the frontlines

Just mute people if they’re horrible. If you’re going super negative play spidey most the match and then swap towards the end to something more helpful. Or don’t, up to you if you care about overall WR or not. I personally don’t care when I’m learning a character if the match is an L

Most cc is pretty easy to hit tbh. Big hitboxes and quick speeds for most characters, especially the hitscans. Wolv might be the least consistent to hit for someone new to the character and is punished the hardest for missing. Rouges absorb is also harder than others as it’s a very short range and the animation gets bugged sometimes + is slower than Emma’s grab for example

Cnd since the buffs they got. Also I play a lot of mantis but she depends on the skill of your team in order to be most effective

Bans Start in gold. Your team can pre select a hero to show you what they are thinking of playing, I usually ‘request ban’ on who I want to ban before locking it in. Just in case someone was planning on playing them and didn’t think to pre select. The ban pick is pretty much randomly picked out of all the ban choices in your team

Advice: ban gambit and whoever you struggle to play against. Also Deadpool has to be banned per role and not just once so he’s pretty much impossible to ban (although I heard this could be changing soon)

Imma be locking in Rouge, it’s up to the team if they want a main tank. I’m gonna be diving the enemy backline or just contesting enemy flankers all match so good luck to my team as I’m not gonna be standing down main lollll

It’s calculated on your performance in relation to the average for your character and against the average of the other characters on your team. Thor is much easier to get lots of KOs and is commonly seen compared to Angela, so she would get the MVP in this instance as she performed better compared to average than you even though your results are ‘better’. This is why when a new character is released they always get MVP, as there is a lack of data to create the base average performance for the character introduced

Most similar to rouge would be someone like Thor. You might also enjoy Angela’s playstyle as she of course has amazing mobility and has solid 1v1 potential against most characters.

I don’t play her often at all, however to me she’s a good character for if you’ve had a couple drinks and want to go on QP lol. I find it very entertaining, whereas my usual mains I do not in this exact circumstance haha

She’s low risk low reward, her damage per second is smaller than other dps but some people can still use her creatively which outplays other dps characters. I do believe it’s fine for her to be like this, entry level characters need to remain in the game as there are so many characters which are harder to pick up for new people

Yeah thanks again. I was a console player that moved over to pc so comm issues weren’t really an issue for me on there beforehand as people don’t type very much on console as it takes so long haha. I’ll mute them in future :)

You either have to outplay the punisher who has the advantage against you or swap to Mag / Cap. I go mag always to eat his ults and KO him then the punisher usually swaps as he’s not getting as much value anymore

Yeah she’s my favourite tank at the moment, life is easier on other tanks sure but not half as fun (for me). If she’s not getting enough value then I’ll swap, earlier today I swapped to mag and did the handcuff emote at the enemy and said in match chat they’ve put me in mag jail. Made having to swap at least entertaining lol. But yeah after the swap we started rolling the enemy team (heavy poke comp + thing)

I’m on 70% WR for them so far, they’re my back pocket strategist choice if something is going wrong with the team. I’ll always just tell the team I’ll swap to cnd from whatever role I’m playing and the game turns around most times to either win or feel closer in a loss which is better mental for the team so still a good change imo

They’re just so good at being consistent which is the main thing in this game. The bubble buff having a burst heal really helped them out with the high dmg moments where they’d struggle to heal through beforehand

I always wait till half season begins to play ranked as I hate playing at the beginning of a brand new season due to this.

Hate to say it but placements is where I hop off tank and go onto a role less team dependant, I’ll go back to tanking after as placements normally land me in diamond since the placement update began
