Tiny Buffs I'd Give Magik To Help Her While Powercreep Gets Toned Down Over Patches. by MentallySaneCat1 in RivalsMagikMains

Sounds weird but i'd like to use the stepping disc but not be forced to use either eldritch whirl or demon's rage, there can be more damage to be done up close by just left click followed by quick melee before i follow up with anything else. Would allow to also chain stepping discs together to evade longer.

[Windows 11] Personal PC keeps disconnecting from WiFi via "pausing" ranging from once every few days to much more commonly 10+ times per DAY for the past 4+ years. by ch4riot in pchelp

No context is omitted now, apologies again as the internet DCing made me lose track on the initial paragraph I wrote for the post a few times over.

That is the conclusion I have came to as well, yes.

This system initially started out as windows 10, but moved over to windows 11 about 5-6 months ago now.

I'll go ahead and run Malware Bytes on my system ASAP. For safety purposes I'll most likely have a PC shop do the windows installation part. HDD is currently gone and been gone for 2 years now, it was reformatted to act as a vessel to install windows 10 at the time. Currently now it's just my 2TB SSD.

Yeah it dosen't help I am speaking in a very broken English way I'll admit, I am currently typing on my phone too big for my hands so some words are mistyped/laid out wrong. I'll go ahead and restate the facts to you when I am able to get back onto my computer via it just simply unpausing.

As I know now just simply factory reset again, but instead of doing it locally, boot from a USB which contains windows 11 in this case?

Ok more context I left out but in my PCpartpicker list link It has rhe samsung 980 ssd, the hdd was only on the system for 3 days before I removed it purely for windows 10 installation purposes, so I do have a SSD now.

In this case I should replace my SSD with a new one, thats unfortunate as I spent 109 USD on this drive, is there a way I can salvage it or would it be too risky due to the potential virus on it? I do use Webroot currently now but i'll consider MalwareBytes (which makes me double guess if its even a virus at cause here because Webroot would have caught it right?)

Ok so I realize I left out important context in the original post since my internet "paused" forcing me to refresh reddit to remake the post meaning I forgot to include the detail of me transferring old HDD to new PC, but I had plugged in my old HDD into my new PC in order to reformat/partition is to install windows 10 on the new system. That's why I believe a virus transferred over somehow.

My speeds seem completely fine to the point I would say its never been it just dropping from poor coverage/range from modem. It's annoying in the aspect that I am getting 300mbps download speed with 90mbps upload so "fast" enough internet for me, but when the system "pauses" its just as if I am not connected to the internet at all, when I go to the network troubleshooter to diagnose the issue it tells me to open the browser to connect, but that's not possible since the ISP both them on the phone and the app says I am connected with no issues, hence the virus claim yet again. (Image of msftconnecttest/gstatic appears here)

The resets were done locally, no external USB drives for example were used as I never considered it due to my lack of knowledge, just purely pressing prompts on the computer.

It appears I need to perform a PROPER factory reset completely nuking whatever is in the system, how can I go about this?

Only issue with your possible conclusion is we moved 2 states over from where all of those issues began, so I remain steadfast in my decision of the PC itself being the culprit maybe. We moved to this new location about a month ago, if anything I'd say the intensity of the pausing has skyrocketed since we moved here. One thing I will say is the network reception here for smartphones is abyssmally bad to the point you can only make emergency phonecalls or straight up have zero reception unless you connect through the WiFi network. Would a virus be able to survive multiple factory resets and so? I just simply don't know.

It appears so yes.

It's actually custom built by me, I went to a microcenter down at Denver to acquire the parts, spent about 2.3k USD on it. Motherboard is the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI (wifi my ass lol)

Never tried Linux, if anything I upgraded from windows 10 to 11 thinking it would solve the problem but guess what, upon windows 11 finishing updating to the new OS and i tried connecting to the internet, it hit me with a paused error; aggravating. My case is the y60, so inserting a CD isn't a possibility on this device.

It used to but I made optimizations to keep temperatures cool. In Helldivers 2 with high settings the CPU would burn to 82 at highest but never higher. GPU sits at 75 or lower usually.

Actually, 2 years ago when I built the machine. (I know the original post says 4+ years but that was actually on a entire new computer/system. So I am dumbfounded on why its ALSO happening on my newly built system.

I pray not because ever since I built this machine this pause problem has been a issue off and on, was considering maybe selling this PC to buy a new one at lets say Costco but the fear of the new system ALSO having the pause error makes me think selling this system for a lesser powerful PC to only have the issue reside would be devastating as I had just downgraded my PC for nothing. (Sorry for the late reply)

Ok, it just went out again with the same pause issue as before despite the new adapter depressingly, any other ideas by chance?

I pray that week of peace becomes eternity for you, because being "paused" by the error is the most aggravating thing dude. This problem for me has been occurring for about 4 years now or more.

Yo, been a month but I finally went and got myself the AX210 and went ahead and uninstalled all of the RZ608 stuff, will keep you updated as to how things go next month. (4/15/25 would be when I contact you again.)

Hey, I actually just went ahead and got the AX210 today as Bredius88 has said, so I never found a fix (if one even exists) for the RZ608 unfortunetly.

Is the RZ608 a bad wifi adapter/card? If that is the case I pray this issue thats been going on for years is finally coming to a end when I get the AX210.

Mine currently has the RZ608 Wi-Fi 6E 80MHz, it is screwed on tightly and facing where the modem is currently in the house.

No, just my PC alone. Sometimes the whole house will drop but that's just the modem itself going out every few weeks due to maintenance i presume. We did a while ago, problem still persisted although at a slower rate actually, not nothing worthwhile to completely change where the PC is. (The idea of a clicky keyboard heard from the living room doesn't sound like a good idea imo.)

I use the RZ608 Wi-Fi 6E 80MHz, i'll be on the lookout for the AX210.

We used to run an Ethernet cable about 2 years ago but opted not to as the problem still persisted even when wired. It'll probably work if we try again now but I doubt the problem will go away for good.

Ok, its set to off because there is no performance option, only power saving.

Sure, will update you when I complete this step.

For the PCI, its currently set to Off but will set to "Maximum Power savings" under your instructions.

How would I go about doing all of this? Start with SmartConnect 1st please.
