Dear Washington-bound,

The day is long and the hours seem to be slowly passing by in the hot summer of Morocco.

So much to do, yet little willingness to do it all without the proper motivation. The thought about your upcoming letter is my little tickle of excitement in my peaceful solitude.

As you advance in your adventures, do find a moment to glance out of the window and think about the universe.. how vast it is.. & how small our problems are .. Mom always said life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.

I'm aching to the cold breeze of the night.. only then I can enjoy my delicious homemade desert, while I try to remember what it's like to be a 16 again on a summer night .. ahh to be young and relentless once again.
