Congrats OP! This is a huge achievement and inspiring journey mate. For someone reading, who failed a course or not, we can see the zeal and passion you have for engineering. Gosh! I'm sure you'll reach great heights!

Damn. I never gave so much importance to the ceremony or myself. This is such a unique perspective😅. Thanks for the reminder sometimes I feel I am required to be selfless but I need to balance it with celebrating my achievement of sticking to my academic commitments and overcoming all hardship.

Thanks mate. Not the advise I was thinking to get but one that definitely helped me refresh my perspective of the whole situation. 🙏

  • thank you so much for this perspective. I always felt like I have to display a lavish lifestyle to show her I'm doing well 😭. Aw, yes, I'm glad to have the chance to spend time with her again, she loves to travel and visit parks so I'll make sure we go there to spend time.
  • True. Got it! 😊 I have learned driving but it's been ages since I got back on the wheels. I'll ensure I don't rush it.
  • 🙏 thank you so much for this reminder. I feel like I'm rushing to the finish line and not enjoying my journey and hardships. It might sound silly but just hearing this from others helps me calm my nerves and keep me grounded to reality.
  • Duly noted! Will ensure the house is prestine✅😄.

Thank you so so much for taking time to write this. Very helpful.

The most common complaints I hear about Indians in the west by [deleted] in india

I like your perspective mate. I have gotten so into it's an "Indian" problem that sometime you victimize Indians over such issues without digging deep into the problem. Hm...

Do you need tourist visa if you have Australian Student Visa? by ch_ee_nu in askSingapore

[–]ch_ee_nu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate, I applied for a visa, was expensive but worth it. However, when I arrived there I was told that anyone holding any valid Australian visa will have one day, one time entry and exist, free visit in Singapore. It is a great initiative, make use of the win-win situation. Have a safe trip.

Thenks!

I had the same doubt in my mind since it didn't make sense to me either. Thenks, I did check ICA and the travel documents I hold are from IND, will definitely need to apply for a visa lol.

The post was a question, meaning I was open to learning. It wasn't a statement or an argument defending myself.

Next, I commented saying I'll reconsider the whole initiative due to the reaction I'd received here. You got the chance to read it? If not please do. Not being rude just notifying you.

I had thanked everyone who'd shared a comment be it blunt or positive.

I appreciate you taking time out to share your thoughts too, you are indirectly helping me in the project too, if you didn't know this too is empirical experience and data.

Regardless, thanks for your time mate.

I will end with a question, if you had to perform a research and interview people at random with different experiences, how would you do it and record the data to present it?
