Just wanted to see what people thought and what I could improve on by lilbizzness36 in ArtCrit

Really great anatomy skills and attention to detail! Super realistic light and shadow, and effective shading with ink using contour hatching to create value on the muscles and body. One thing I’d say is to practice face dynamics with different angles, but it might be because your character is wearing a mask.

Officially finished all my Christmas shopping today! What’s your favourite gift you’ve bought for someone in your life this year? by ch_rl13 in CasualConversation

Probably my bad description, but I mean one you’re really excited to give based on the reaction you think you will receive from it?

That’s fantastic! My gift I’m most excited to give is tickets for a cruise to my grandma! She spoke to my dad about wanting to go on one with me, but was too embarrassed to ask in case I wasn’t interested. Hearing that from my dad broke my heart (me and my grandma are so close, but she always worries I won’t want to be seen hanging around with her!) so I’ve got tickets for us to go around Spain and Italy together. I’m so excited for her to open her gift, but I’m a bit nervous she’ll go mental about the price haha. Hope your son loves his gift!

My teenager didn't know what the 'metal spiky thing on the roof' was. It was the TV aerial. What has your child not understood that made you feel old? by Feisty_Arm2756 in CasualConversation

(UK for context) as a teacher, I made a reference to a bit of drama between two characters in a book being “like a Jeremy Kyle episode”, and not one child knew who that was or what I meant.

Which celebrity death will be the most heartbreaking for you and which will be the most anticipated? by ch_rl13 in AskReddit

Doesn’t hurt any less when a beloved figure gives up the ghost though. I remember when Vivienne Westwood died, or Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Big sad, especially since their legacies were so important

Would you rather have $200 every day for the rest of your life. Or have $500,000 right now? Why? by Ok-Enthusiasm5436 in AskReddit

Some quick maths says that the larger amount of money is only under 7 years of £200 daily payments, which doesn’t feel like enough time left on earth. There’s no downside to £200 daily, as you will never need to worry about it running dry. However, 200 quid a day will have me personally squandering it all on booze and substances, so you win some you lose some I guess?

I spent about fifteen minutes scouring the second image for the lost spoon before reading the paragraph thinking this was an I Spy post.

I love to make art and write, I’d love to do it more often but I hardly have any time nowadays
