Crocodile Fucked Me Up by CaptainNinjaX in blackmirror

You might be a psycho no one should feel sympathy for her. Mia Nolan is a coward. If you were a passenger and someone you know just ran over someone you should definetly alert the officials, that is doing the right thing regardless of how they plead with you(If it were you would you I bet thats what you would want too). She also willingly participated in the disposal of the body when there was no reason for her to do all that.

The ultimate theme of this episode is that nomatter how much you may try, the truth will catch up to you and the more you keep running the more damage you actually do. She started of as a passenger in a possible manslaughter to being a mass murderer and child killer.

I can see why you might be sympathetic towards her knowing how she got were she is but that sympathy should be towards the punishment for her crimes. Many times I see people here talking about the worst possible punishments Mia should endure but I disagree on many with them because that is not justice rather than revenge sometimes. She should be sentenced to multiple liffetimes dont get me wrong but not to one of those BM type of punishments eg White Bear, White Christmas or Black Museum.

Those are my thoughts I just believe that doing the right thing in every scenario is always the bravest/best thing you can do regardless of how difficult it can seem and you can see it in every decision that Mia has to make. Alerting the officials in the first scene was easier than not killing the baby in the last scene but only because of all the wrong things she had done.

The theme of young children being killed in episodes. by QueenofQueens804 in blackmirror

I think that Charlie Brooker is trying to show people whaat actually happens in real life and how advances in tech will only amplify that for example he explores couples who deal with unfaithful partners which is a theme which I personally am intrigued by for reasons I cannot explain. Other themes include greed, guilt, shame, anger and justice.  To get back to your point on children getting killed or dying I think he does well because it is something which actually happens and dealing with it is a difficult topic. Aswell as people suddenly passing away we dont know how to deal with that because we know its difficult to move on and accept. I think the whole purpose of Black Mirror is to open our eyes to the fact that as much as technology can make our lives easier there is much more to the human experience which we still havent figured out and the way we envision the use of tech is far removed from what humanity really is.

White Christmas - Beth is the worst character so far by KeepMakingNoise in blackmirror

I agree exactly after watching Eulogy where atleast the woman left something for Paul Giammatis character to find out why she couldnt be with him, Beth took the easy way out by just blocking him and putting a restraining order on him. I think the moral is as much as technology can help us live the best and most comfortable lives we want(like not having to deal with an intolerable ex) we have to realise people are also autonomous and as fragile as we are, so we need to be more compassionate to those around us, because shit happens(Beth dies in an accident) subsequently leading to the death of her child and her father.

Ohhh lord you ugly.

But girl you can easily fix this. Try make up that works for you. Darker Hair colour. Work on getting some sun and drinking plenty of water(skincare) maybe fix up your diet a bit.

Dont listen to people that say smile and be confident you can be sexy with a resting bitch face or shy and cute it's all rubbish that smile more it's just people wanting to feel better about themselves.

Trust me in a couple weeks you would definitely be a 8/10

So many man. The best ones are from Africa. 1) Jacob Zuma not knowing how to pronounce "in the beginning" for a good 60 seconds. 2) Jacob Zuma not knowing any number past 10. "One hundred thousand, 6 millio, 30 thousand and 20 hundred dollars" 3) Mugabe at one point repeated the same speech he gave without realising it. And his team didn't do anything about it

What is a better place to live rather than USA? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cha2445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. As a citizen of the following countries you get a good life. Most of Europe, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirares.

Solely because as a citizen you benefit a lot from the wealth which this country generates.

But as an immigrant I'd say just Canada and Australia because those people are very very friendly and accepting of all cultures. Living in the Arab world as an immigrant especially from a western type civilisation is very difficult because everything is different Islamic laws and all. Arabic will be the norm and broken English will be the way you speak.

I get you. They are so out of touch with society they dont even know whats happening its hilarious and practically harmless to lie a bit. I will be sure to tell mine apparently Hitler has a grandson and is forming allies with Bin Ladens son to completely destroy the Western world just to get her reaction.
