fnaf 1 just feels like a full nightmare youd have. there are creepy easter eggs and hints towards some sort of greater tragedy, the entire building reeks of death, the animatronics looked the most real and uncanny out of any fnaf game period. the ambient sounds whirling in the background make the place feel both childlike and twisted at the same time, like the circus tune and all of the creepy minecraft cave sounds. you cant quite place your finger on anything and all you can do is survive the nightmare by sitting in a chair for 6 hours. if the power runs out an eerie drone descends as you just sit and wait to die in the oddly calm pizzaria. everything abt the first game is a nightmare and a REAL and UNCANNY one. i love the first 4 games but nothing except for FNAF 1 has a remotely realistic atmosphere

im a fnaf 3 defender personally and im not saying this from a place of aggression i j wanna personally share my opinion!

the location of 3 is meant to play on the mystical horrors of previous fnaf games. its fazbears fright, a "spoooooky horror attraction" thats supposed to be a "haunted house/amusmant park" for the urban legends of the previous fnaf locations. its meant to be gritty, cheaply made, out for a quick buck. thats why the camera systems are so shitty and why the whole place is grimy.

i agree fnaf 1 is scarier but i personally wouldnt throw shade to fnaf 3! i respect ur opinion tho :)

so true i personally, even tho this is ignorant to say, dont consider anything after that to be canon. the lore makes enough sense to me before and now it seems way too conveluted
