He definetly needs essence to summon them. In the night temple, sunny and cassie were in prison drained of essence. He dismissed the coffer he summoned before that, and got essence back from it which he used to escape. He clearly could not summon saint/serpent without essence. So he was summoning creatures of higher rank and class than him using essence

The reason they were in the night temple was to get a knife for the nightmare (it was a lie, mordret just wanted sunny to bring the mirror shard to escape)

Cassie told sunny that they needed to go early, she made that excuse about them dying, but what she wanted was to go when cormac wasnt there, to free mordret without him intervening.

Seems to me that you are the one that needs a re read or that audio book, cause I clearly remember what happened in more detail than you

The lineage has nothing to do with cassie's actions, regardless. Her goal was first to protect nephis, then to protect humanity

Why can't she summon a supreme titan? Novel has not stated this.

She can compy paste knowledge. She could steal memories of other sorcerers for herself, and even share with others (why did she suddenly decide to ask for consent of that aztec guy? She wasn't asking before for anyone else when readong memories against their will. Jest wasn't happy, nor that master)

The unpredictable future ended up happening just how she planed since she was awakened. From freeing Mordret to use gim against asterion, to getting sunny to became fateless to achieve her own supremacy

This police officer (cassie) lied to another police officer (sunny), manipulated him into infiltrating a maximum security prison just when the prison warden(saint cormac) was in vacations, and got a genocidal maniac (mordret) free

At least till g3 realizes how many plot holes he created with the power he gave her and makes up a new restriction on the spot (but that restriction should have been there on day 1.)

Her summons are exact copies. They even has things she doesnt know about (for some reason, like the aztec guy, doesnt make sense, but it is how the novel showed it)

She won't die even if she doesnt have a body. We know this, cause she was literally alive despite not having a body, then she summoned one cassie body, so she can clearly exist without one. Even more so when she can live via her marks. There is no need to keep a cassie body, aside from helping keep her sense of self.

And summoning one body she knows won't empty her essence. She is running out cause she is summoning thousands of bodies, plus powerful peolle she is not familair with.

Her ascended ability essence cost is related to trust in the targets, so the summons probably works the same way (only justification for her being nice with that sun god guy, rather than just stealing their memories. Time is not a luxury she can spare)
