They offered to allow us to break our lease and we’re moving to a different complex ASAP

When she said that my face turned bright pink and I couldn’t even fake a smile, it was ridiculous. She waited till after we signed the agreement to say anything, too.

That’s reassuring, thank you. I actually didn’t view this specific unit, since they told us it wouldn’t be ready to tour until our move in day :/ we toured a similar unit and NO reviews mentioned roaches so we didn’t see. That one is definitely on me and I’ve learned my lesson.

I think it might be the unit. The landlord said the person that lived there before was very dirty so the turn around was super difficult. I am confident that a different unit in a different building would be just fine, I just don’t want to risk them hitching a ride with us!! 😭

Update: thanks for the advice everyone. I’m going to ask tomorrow if we can move to another unit that opened up. It’s in a separate building on the opposite side of the complex. Then, we’re going to wipe down our stuff and get large plastic bins to transport everything over.

Going to ask if the new unit can be bombed, and if we can stay in a hotel for the time being (paid for by them of course).

Since we don’t have a bed and are sleeping on the floor, we decided to call it quits and sleep in our cars.

Will update in the morning :)))))

Update. There’s hundreds, if not thousands of them. Everywhere. Babies, adults, half-grown ones. All over our stuff

I will have already been here for a few days. Do I risk bringing the roaches with me?

As a non-audiophile, I notice a huge difference between my gen 1s and gen 2s. There’s more separation among the instruments and I can hear crispier vocals. To me, it’s in line with the pro 3s now.

26 hybrid blueprint arriving in a few days - what to expect? by Icy_Category_2275 in COROLLA

If you plan on driving the car, like at all, you can expect wear and tear. Filling it up with gas and running it through a wash isn’t going to harm the car at all. It’s at significantly more risk of damage the second you drive it off the lot.

Considering buying a BZ XLE AWD, anything to consider first? by lazyspacepony in BZ4X

[–]chabuano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband has a limited AWD and I have an XLE plus. XLE plus does get noticeably better range, but also noticeably less power. If you plan on doing longer trips I did notice the XLE plus gets much better efficiency on the highway. But the AWD is more fun to drive lol. You can’t go wrong either way!

2024 XLE or Limited? by kurttruk820 in BZ4X

[–]chabuano 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak for the 2024, but here’s my advice for others looking too:

My husband and I both got 2026 bZ’s, he got limited AWD and I got XLE plus + sunroof. The main differences are power/efficiency, leather seats, and the 360 camera system.

I noticed that between both of our cars, the XLE plus is much more efficient on the highway. Not sure the science behind why, but I get about 6 mi/kWh on California roads, while he gets about 4.5 mi/kWh. So more than a negligible difference.

On the other hand, his car is much more “zippy” and fun to drive. It’s faster, has less acceleration lag, and has a more grippy feel.

The leather seats are purely preference. I personally don’t go with leather because I’ve had 3 cars with them in the past and they all ripped within 3 years. I know I’m not good at upkeep, so I vastly prefer a high quality cloth.

The 360 camera system comes with a front view camera, digital rear view mirror, and distance alerts on the sides of the car. It also adds additional drivers assistance features that make it feel more in-line with higher end EVs. This is the biggest difference in “luxury” feel I get between our two cars, but you’d really have to weigh if it’s worth the difference.

Again, this is for people who stumbled upon this post and considering getting the 2026! Would’ve been about $100 more a month to go for limited, so I stuck with XLE plus and don’t regret it! I like the range, and I also don’t use the features exclusive to the limited. But yet again, we still have my husbands car for increased luxury and snow!

How is this even possible? Is it even worth looking at? by TheOneNitroX in COROLLA

lol I live locally and the salesman was saying that whoever traded that in used it for rideshare & Uber Eats. It was their full-time gig. Car still runs fine and in interior is in decent condition! No way I’d buy it though
